Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The way I see it, all these things listed here fill television and movies and though many professing Christians do not do them yet by watching them and paying to watch people break all of Gods commandment they are taking pleasure in them that do do them and that is equally punishable.

who Jesus can and can't save? And why do they try to tell you whose prayers Jesus can't hear? Are they trying to prevent others from receiving their blessing? Or are they just not true christians at all? Because i do believe in Jesus but i'm not where i should be. But there's always someone that think that they have the right to pass judgement on others faith. Why?

(If) God is all powerful, and All Knowing, then he knows RIGHT NOW, who is going to Heaven and Hell? Correct? So while we choose the path we take, God knows the path before we take it. Does it not seem mean, or cruel, to create something, and know your creation will spend eterity in hell?

I have always been interested in fun little tarot readings, and ouiji boards, ETC. But lately i have been wondering about all these 'past lives' that everyone supposedly has. I never put much thought into it before. But if there were 'past lives' Then how exactly would you know, or feel it? I'm guessing you wouldnt, really. But, would it be when you die, instead of going to a 'heaven' or 'hell' or just being nonexistant, would you immediatley be sent into another 'life'? And wouldnt this totally destroy heaven/hell/nonexistant theories? and vice/versa?

Your so brainwashed, I have been on R&S for so long, I heard all the negative things they say about islam.

When I go and check them for myself:

1. They are either complete lies and fabrications.
2. Extremely misunderstood; escpecially when they use the (Copy and Paste method) When quoteing the quran or hadith.

But asking questions here doesn't seem very effective in doing much. SO, I challange anyone to debate me and try to tell me there point of view and prove that it's right.

Anyone agree?

I'm not an Atheist, and I'm not a Christian. I find my own spirituality.
But in my experience, Christians have gotten mad at me for thinking Jesus was a man. Hey, many Atheists don't even believe he existed! I have great respect for him and how close to God he was.
Why does it seem they get more mad at me than Atheists who don't believe in Jesus at all?

He came to Simon Peter; and Peter said to him, "Lord, do you wash my feet?" Jesus answered him, "What I am doing you do not know now, but afterward you will understand."

Also of interest is the Levitical instruction concerning the Day of Atonement sacrifice (which the epistle to the Hebrews takes for granted as the kind of sacrifice which Jesus offered on the Cross). In Leviticus 16, we read:

Then Aaron shall come into the tent of meeting, and shall put off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there; and he shall bathe his body in water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people. (Lev. 16:23-24)

The High Priest was constrained by the Law to wash himself in water before making the atoning sacrifice, and it is interesting to note the order: he takes off his garments, performs the washing ritual, puts the garments back on again, then makes the sacrifice. In St. John's narrative, Our Lord follows this exact order: He takes off His garments (vs. 4), performs the washing ritual (vv. 5-11), puts the garments back on (v. 12), and then goes on to endure His Passion. It is odd that St. John would have included the details of Jesus taking off His garments and putting them back on again, if he did not have Leviticus 16 in the back of his mind.

There are only two differences between the Levitical ritual and the ritual performed in the Upper Room: in Levitical Law, the High Priest washed not only his feet, but his entire body, whereas in the Upper Room Jesus makes a point of only washing the disciples' feet; and in Levitical Law it was the High Priest who washed himself, whereas in the Upper Room Jesus does not wash Himself, but His disciples.

The first point of difference can be explained by an appeal to the elaboration of the laws in the Talmud, particularly in Tract Yomah, which is concerned precisely with the Day of Atonement rituals. There, the rabbis argued, as Jesus does in the Upper Room, that once the priest has taken his full bath, he need only be concerned with the cleanliness of his hands and feet.

The second point of difference comes closer to explaining the significance of the footwashing in John 13. It was the High Priest who was to wash Himself before the sacrifice; the fact that it is not Jesus who is washed, but rather His disciples, strongly encourages the interpretation that it is by having their feet washed that they come to share in the priesthood of Christ.

Finally, we may look again at Christ's words to St. Peter: "If I do not wash you, you have no part [meros] in me."

Because I see so many comments where people are saying what muslims believe in but are so way off. I'm just wondering where do these ideas come from is it from the media or somewhere else. If people actually knew an average muslim first hand all of this tension would eased. I also believe if Muslims in the middle east knew the average american they would also not have hate against America. I guess its just a bad job of the Media in the west and also in the MIddle East that they make other cultures look inhumane and only report the most negative and bias news to instill these strange ideas into people's heads.
