If that's the case, Satan is awesome! He's allowed us to create the technology to develop personal computers and the internet... which makes it possible for you to ask THIS question!
You should be thanking Satan.
Thank Satan, Church Lady.

Evolutheist? Gee, I wonder what YOUR belief system is?
Consider the scientifically proven fact that the length of the day is determined by the motion of the Earth, that the Earth moves and the Sun does not. That is contradicted by the Bible, saying that for Joshua "the sun stood still [not the Earth], and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself..." (Joshua 10:13). It also says, "The Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows. (Habakkuk 3:11)
The Sun-centered solar system is the precise belief for which the Roman Catholic Church condemned Galileo and others, even torturing and murdering some who simply believed that the Earth moved, and not the Sun as stated in the above Biblical references.
So is astronomy of Satan, because at least in part it contradicts the Bible? Do we really want to resurrect and live in the dark ages? I am glad that most reasonable people do not. It is too bad for us all that some do.

No. I would definitely NOT agree with science being of Satan. What is of Satan is what people do with the information that science has to offer. Some people, especially politicians, invent causes and reasons to make people subjegate themselves to the conclusions that they draw to something that was found out. Like Global Warming, the Ozone Hole, and some of the activism involved with Endangered Species, ie, the Liberal causes.
It may be determined that something is a fact, but to imply the conclusions that are a part of what can be called, " The Popular Ideology" means that everyone must conform to that Ideology, or suffer the consequences.
This activity puts people under bondage to the rule of Law in what can be construed as unnecessary and draconian. It puts people in jail for things like running over a rat with a tractor on a farm. It confuses, detains, takes property away from caring individuals, kills, sets the radical activists in a place to pontificate penalties over property owners and common people.
So true science doesn't do any of that. It merely observes the relationships of things with other things. It does not make laws in the judicial sense of the word, and it does not deviate from truth.

Science is not evil and it also does not always contradict or conflict with the Bible. More than 600 scientists (published and employed by major universities) have acknowledged that they have some findings that indicate that the world itself (earth) may not be nearly as old or took as long to develop as they once thought. They have found evidence in granite bedrock that the rock would have had to go from molten to solid within 30 minutes because a specific substance RN218 (part of plutonium) is found in its original state. That particular substance has a half life of less than 30 minutes in a molten state before it turns to lead particle. (At least that is my unscientific understanding of it) That is very good evidence for an "instant earth" theory. For more info on this subject, check out www.coreresearch and www.thecreationnetwork.org. By the way, the creation network is not a bunch of religious kooks. They are respected scientists in several persuasions such as physics, geology, astronomy, life sciences etc.

What FACTS of science contradict the bible?
The Bible is not a history book or a science journal.
It is not a owners manual for the Starship Enterprise.
It is a book of Faith containing the chief truths of God and His creation necessary for man's salvation. It cannot help you make a chocolate shouffle that doesn't collapse.

No. It just proves the fact that the bible was edited by King James and King James liked ot take stuff out. And some of the bible is fake so it'll tie into the rest of historical occurrences. Like the greeks, they used weird stories to explain natural spirits...adam and eve, the tower of babel, and anything not recorded is a hole and was filled in. God made evolution and NOT SPONTANEOUS generation, as the bible depicts adam and eve magically coming out of dirt. I'm a christian, and i just use my brain.

Say what? The Bible's not divine and there is no Satan. Science is in the real world. Good thing for separation of church and state, huh?

How can you even compare Bible and Science?!
Bible is full of myths, superstitions, and wierd stories and its clearly written by beings who have no knowledge or grasp of nature around them and were simply in awe of it. Bible is for simple folks who want to go through their life without understanding the world around them.

I understand what you are saying:::::::

You believe that reality is something objective, external, existing in its own right. You also believe that the nature of reality is self evident. When you delude yourself into thinking that you see something, you assume that everyone else sees the same thing as you. But I tell you Winston, that reality is not external. Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else. Not in the individual mind, which can make mistakes, and in any case soon perishes: only in the mind of the party, which is collective and immortal. Whatever the party holds to be truth, is truth. It is impossible to see reality except by looking through the eyes of the Party.

'Sometimes, Winston. Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once. You must try harder. It is not easy to become sane.'

How does science "contradict" the Bible ? Moreover Science can be utilized for good and evil and all creation is inherently good, including the physical laws that hold the universe together.
