(If) God is all powerful, and All Knowing, then he knows RIGHT NOW, who is going to Heaven and Hell? Correct? So while we choose the path we take, God knows the path before we take it. Does it not seem mean, or cruel, to create something, and know your creation will spend eterity in hell?

Your comments are very wrong and false. Commenting on yourself alone without reading the bible is definitely very wrong.

True God know what all of us are doing right now but he could not say whether you are going to hell or not at present time as you wish and as you question. He know very well what path are you following or taking either on the path of darkness or right path to heaven.

God is giving us an option to follow. If you desire to go and follow the dark side, you maybe e allowed and if on the right path, go and seek for it.

When judgment will come upon the return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, you will be judge on what you have done. And if you have followed the right path to heaven, you will be taken to heaven and have eternal life and if you have followed the wrong path, you will suffer the penalty of heat on a lake of fire forever

Yes from a very humble human point it doesn't seem fair or even the slightest bit loving. However I have faith God knows what is best and faith that by believing in Jesus in his gift for all of us that I will make heaven. If I am wrong then there is not a hell and I lived a good life without the problems sin creates. John 3:16

Im worried too, meistro, make shure youre going to heaven so that He wouldn't be mislabelled as a cruel God.

If people do go to hell its because they tare themselves away from God all their lives, despite his efforts (because hell is not a place but a state of irreversible and total Godlessness),

Thats why we say God is a suffering God.

What is hell?

I am an engineer. I can create a model that is meant to solve a problem. Then I can populate the model with bots that are randomly programmed. Some of the bots will provide meaningful answers to the problem. Am I cruel if I create this kind of model?

So He should've only created people who'd love and follow Him? Sounds like a race of robots. Wouldn't that be mean and cruel to take away our choice to follow Him or not?
C.S. Lewis described hell as a place of quarantine away from God and His love. If you don't want that, why should you be forced to bow down and worship Him for all eternity?
As a Christian, I look forward to that. You probably think, "Oh, no way." So why force that on you?

I do not believe that God is all knowing. I think that concept is a man made thing. It doesn't make sense if you think about it.

God made Adam and Eve yet Satan was able to tempt them into sinning? How could that be true if God knew ahead of time? Satan was in heaven with God and was one of his favorites before he defied God. Wouldn't God have known that Satan (Lucifer) would do what he did? Unlikely. When God delivered the Jews out of Egypt, do you think he knew they would end up not making it to the promised land because of their sin? Unlikely or he would not have done it.

I think God has learned to know mankind and he is probably more aware of what we will do today than he was back then simply because his experience with us has taught him. Does that make him less? Not in my opinion.

And lastly, if God knew ahead of time who would go to hell and who would go to heaven etc., why would he have sent Christ? We would have not had any choice to make because it would have already been determined.

Yes, it's extremely cruel for some deity to create billions of creatures who are ultimately destined for eternal torment, especially since they didn't ask to be born in the first place.

The real answer, of course, is that Jehovah is an imaginary creature that the Powers That Be (TM) use to keep the rest of society in line. Hell is an imaginary place for those who are smart, er, evil enough to think that the Mighty Oz has some relationship to the clergyman hiding behind the curtain...

I used to be a brainwashed Christian until I realized that I have a brain and I can interpret things for myself. I am not a true atheist, as I am still searching for my own conclusions. The bible is a mess....full of contradictions. This only makes sense, as it was written by men and translated through so many languages and editions.. If there is a God and we were to take the teachings of Christianity into consideration, it does seem quite cruel.

No he is giving them a chance to repent and show there love for him and not the devil and the world, the bible say he does not want any to parish and that hell was created for the demons, not for man, but man has followed the demons and they need to repent while there is still time, the ones who repent will save themselves! Here read this and see how good God is, he has a gift for you!

not if they choose it.

i see our relationship with god as similar to the relationship between parents and children. parents choose to let their kids have free will within a certain boundary. when the kids choose to cross that boundary, they get punished.

god knows the path we will take, but he gives us the free will to decide for ourselves. if we choose to go against him, we get punished. and it's not like god's punishing us without warning - we all know that the punishment for not following god is hell. and god gives us all the time in the world when we're here on earth to make a decision.
