Is it because many of them are Hindus? Or do people just think that these are somehow bad answers? I don't get it. I thought many of them were fine answers.

"FRANKFURT: A German judge has stirred a storm of protest here by citing the Koran in turning down a German Muslim wife's request for a fast-track divorce on the ground that her husband beat her.

In a remarkable ruling that underlines the tension between Muslim customs and European laws, the judge, Christa Datz-Winter, said the couple came from a Moroccan cultural milieu in which it is common for husbands to beat their wives. The Koran, she wrote, sanctions such physical abuse."

it's just the way some people are, why do Christians exaggerate the few oblique possible references to homosexuality in the Bible and insist that homosexuality is some kind of a special sin to which they must mete out special discriminatory treatment?
Homosexuality doesn't even get a mention in the Ten Commandments so it's obviously not a major concern of God's.
It seems like St Paul was the man with the pathological hatred of some forms of homosexuality as expressed in his epistle's but Paul was not the son of God.

There are so many things in the Bible that can not possibly be true. At the very least, wouldn't it make more sense to believe that the Bible is parables that you can learn from, not literal events?

No offense intended, just curious.

Science seems to say that everything in the bible, can be explained by science itself, and everything else is impossible. But science offers no proof on there so called big bang, end of universe and creation its self. All they can offer is hypothesis. Last time i checked it has to be prove. Im not saying science is wrong in all categories, but why no offer proof instead of bringing other religous theorys down?

christian like at first but let someone say the wrong thing that they may not want to hear and it's like the true person steps right out in front of God and everybody. And the kicker is most of the times these are people that knows the bible backward and foward but the thing is so does satan. He was once jesus very own. So is this the point you should question whether this person is giving good spiritual advice? Or would that be considered as judging the person because they weren't able to turn the other cheek?

It seems to be the general consensus that we Christians must be stupid to believe in Something or Someone who was around thousands of years ago, and who we cannot see. Do they not think that we may have done our own thinking and research and decided that there is no other explaination for the world?! Come on, non-Christians... most of us are not just blindly following the church because we can't be bothered thinking!!

The world's Government is slowly trying to get us all use to this Microchip Implanting in our house pets just incase they run off and get lost.
But you watch.......sooner or later, the Goverment will make it very easy even for us humans to vollenteer to get the 'Chip' Implanted into the human body.

In the Bible, the Book of Revelations somewhere it reads that the "Anti-Christ" will demand the Order that No Human on the world will ever be able to Buy or Sell..... ever, without the 666 Microchip first be Implanted into the Foreheads or the Right hands.

What do you think?? Is the Gov. really trying to get us so use to this so called.....Microchip,,, that when the Anti-Christ appears to the whole world and demands the real 666 Chip,........that it wont be a shock to us society cause the Government already got us 'use to' this Pre-Microchip thing, right ??

It occurred to me that the extremes of religion get a bad rap, because with most faiths, if everyone practiced the extreme, the group would be better off and nicer. If all Catholics were good third order Carmelites, the catholics would be pretty descent. If all Jews were Neturei Karta, the Jews would be pretty decent. If all Protestants were Amish, that would be good.

But with us, if all Muslims were like the most extreme Sunni clerics; we'd still be in conflict with others. What do you think?

Dragons live forever, but not so little boys, magic rings and paper wings make way for other toys, then one night it happened jackie draper came no more and puff the mighty dragon sadly ceased his fearless roar, his head was bent with sorrow, green scales fell like rain, puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane, without his life long friend, puff could not be brave, so puff the mighty dragon sadly slipped back in his cave--

isn't this kind of what it's like when you lose your faith completely, or outgrow it? Does God crumble to dust or slink away to hide when we find we no longer have time to play his childish games and our responsibilities and need to survive force us to put our crosses and books away like the toys of our childhood? Are those lucky enough, blessed enough, to still have the faith of the child saint therese still playing with the magick dragon, to whom nobled kings and princes would bow whene'ere they came?
