Soren, same faith, or same church? There is a very big difference. You say that you love the Bible, that is excellent, but you also need to remember that God does love you, deeply. He does care about you, and your desires. Ask Him to help you find a man that He knows is best suited for you. Everything that the Bible has to say about how God led whomever to find their mate holds true for you today. As He did fore others then, so will He do for you. I am certain that God has someone for you that you will be his "Rebecca" for him. The world is your place to search, just do so asking for, believing, and relying on God to help you. The faith that you should be searching in is that of the Bride of Christ, which is the true church, and all Christians. Churches and religious groupings are the idea of man, not of God. God does know best, go find your life love among all the men that have asked Jesus to be their savior and Lord, and do believe as you do of God. Peace to you young sister, there is a lot more available than you realize. Your religion, or better faith and relationship is in what we know to be the bride of Christ, which is the total church. Go find your man, God will lead the two of you to each other.

I think one of the problems lies with the "ministers" where they think that the people are there to serve the religion and not as it should be the religion serving the people .
many years ago I was a regular church goer , and the church was the centre of local youth activity , scouts , guides , youth club etc , then cam along a new minister , which coincided with me starting work and took me away from home for a year . On the first occasion that I was able to attend the youth club I was told that I was no longer welcome as I did not attend the church try as I may to explain my circumstances I was not allowed to participate
I left the church and youth club
it is no wonder that the average church goers age is so old

I love Jesus, but hate empty religion that denies His power to touch and to transform people's lives
I love the Bible, because it knows what is best for me.
A Church that lacks people of your age probably isn't ministering to the whole community and is meeting the needs of people unlike yourself. You may need to consider finding another one.
I have seen great anguish in Christians trapped in a relationship with someone who doesn't share their faith.
Jesus will find you the partner you really need, but you need to leave the issue on the altar and not try to run your love life yourself

No I feel free,
I Love my religion,
I love my Faith, but I don't listen to words written by man, and what you are being told is rubbish, do you really think God would want that, what he wants is us to Love each other, and get on with each other, don't listen to books, the words of God were twisted when man wrote it, follow your heart, and follow God, think what he would want from you, not what some man has said.
You have to remember most religion was written to control others in to following that path, by making threats against those who did not follow
Love & Peace

I find the opposite. Through God I have found the power and the confidence to achieve what I never thought I could. I haven't been stifled by the bible.

properly, in case you look on the era of the Enlightenment and the French philosophes, you notice human beings for the 1st time questioning faith. This occured around an identical time because of fact the medical Revolution. It grew to become into in the process the Enlightenment while skepticism and public atheism first grew to alter into regular. human beings like the Baron d'Holbach wrote tracts and treatises denouncing faith, and Voltaire, who's probable the main widespread guy or woman of the Enlightenment, grew to become into the only which called God, "the great Clockmaker" - he grew to become right into a theist. Thomas Paine had an identical concept. the hot discoveries in technology additionally made human beings question faith - whilst Copernicus's hypothesis (which all of us comprehend now could be genuine) with regard to the solar being the middle of the universe scared the crud out of individuals, in spite of if he grew to become right into a priest. Johannes Keplar proving it mathematically additionally scared human beings - he grew to become right into a Christian too. Galileo's artwork and fairly the artwork of Isaac Newton made it extra durable and extra durable for individuals to have faith in God - very like right this moment. in short, in the process the Enlightenment and the medical Revolution, pursuit of know-how did stifle faith.

I have no religion
I read the bible and it did nothing for me - it came into the category of 'not a good read - too easy to put down'
There are no restrictions on who I can date other than mutual attraction
Age and marital status mean nothing to me.
You should abandon your religion and get a life if your feelings run that deep.

Sounds like you take your religion MUCH too seriously. What kinda sick religion tells you who you can date?
Try thinking for yourself for a minute, or accept that your existence will be a puppet of your religion.
Oh! Oh! I have a to make a suggestion about "nana's" answer. Maybe most 19-69 yr old men (especially the good looking one's, who naturally have more confidence) don't really feel they need to please everyone, especially a "higher power" that nobody can ever prove to them exists. Maybe they'd rather stick to the facts that they can understand.
