Is it OK in your religion to have a picture/ painting of Jesus or Mary his mother, or Moses, etc.?

Pictures of all Prophets and holy people are forbidden. This is to prevent idolatry which is not allowed in islam. It is also out of respect and honor to the holy people

it is not only Muhammad. in fact it is all the holy people like Jesus and Mary

it is not O.K in ISLAM to have them pictured

Well, most of the laws in Koran are also written in the old testament of Christian Bible.

Now, about images, based on the Bible, God really prohibit his people in creating images of man with creeping creatures, animals with four legs or birds (Romans 1) just like we saw in Catholic chapels and churches.
