On March 14 my oldest sister passed away. It was not expected although some of us had the feeling that things were not going to go well since she had a history of a stroke. As a Christian, it has been hard but I just wonder how other christians and non christians deal with their grief. I have also lost a child and my dad but this seems to be a different kind of lose. She crocheted crosses and gave them to people where she went and would do anything for anyone. She called me everyday to check on me but I just wonder how others deal with their grief.

There has not been any "gaay gene" discovered or it would be all over the news more than Anna Nicole Smith was in the news.

Does anyone think that they can pick out from a line up of babies in a hospital the "gaay" one?

I think this is an honest question, and I would appreciate someone actually trying to answer it instead of name calling.

P.S.
I misspelled the word on purpose because I think that certain words get red flagged and the question gets censored automatically.

My money's on Supes by a nose, what with the superstrength, speed, vision, hearing, flight, x-ray & heat vision AND super-ventriloquism. But "Jee" would be a tough match if he can use the "healing" thing on himself and not just lepers (kinda like Clair).

...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is not about judging people; it’s about worshipping God and learning to love one another. We all sin, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's amazing love, proven in Jesus' death and resurrection for our sake, anyone can be forgiven, cleansed, and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them diligently and persistently.

So, my QUESTION is:
Won't you join us in worship this week, and learn the truth for yourself? We’ll be delighted to see you, of course, but most importantly, you’ll be pleasing Someone who already knows and loves you!

This question isn't SPAM, by the way. I don't care which church you choose, and I have no personal interest in your decision. God bless you!

No rude or disrespectful replies, please. Thanks.

Muhammad(pbuh) was born in Mecca in the year 570. Since his father
died before his birth, and his mother shortly afterwards, he was
raised by his uncle from the respected tribe of Quraysh. As he grew
up, he became known for his truthfulness, generosity and sincerity, so
that he was sought after for his ability to arbitrate in disputes.
The historians describe him as calm and meditative. Muhammad (pbuh)
was of a deeply religious nature, and had long detested the decadence
of his society.

It became his habit to meditate from time to time in the Cave of Hira
near Mecca. At the age of 40, while engaged in a meditative retreat,
Muhammad(pbuh) received his first revelation from God through the
Angel Gabriel. This revelation, which continued for 23 years is
known as the Quran. As soon as he began to recite the words he heard
from Gabriel, and to preach the truth which God had revealed to him,
he and his small group of followers suffered bitter persecution,
which grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to
emigrate.

This event, the Hijra 'migration', in which they left Mecca for the
city of Medina, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar. After
several years, the Prophet and his followers were able to return to
Mecca, where they forgave their enemies and established Islam
definitively. Before the Prophet saw dies at the age of 63, the
greater part of Arabia was Muslim, and within a century of his death
Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far East as China. He
died with less than 5 possessions to his name.

While Muhammad (pbuh) was chosen to deliver the message, he is not
considered the "founder" of Islam, since Muslims consider Islam to be
the same divine guidance sent to all peoples before. Muslims believe
all the prophets from Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus etc. were all sent
with divine guidance for their peoples. Every prophet was sent to his
own people, but Muhammad(pbuh) was sent to all of mankind. Muhammad
is the last and final messenger sent to deliver the message of Islam.
Muslims revere and honor him (pbuh) for all he went through and his
dedication, but they do not worship him. "O Prophet, verily We have
sent you as a witness and a bearer of glad tidings and a warner and
as one who invites unto God by His leave and as an illuminating
lamp."(33:45-6)

We are accused of trying to convert all to christianity, shoving our religion down everybodys throat, and other nonsense. I know thats not who we are, but i'm curious is there something we can do to show them all that we care about them, regardless of their beliefs or denominations. I don't know about all of you, but outside of these sites, we are all brothers and sisters right, regardless if they accept us and our views.

Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but rather to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until Heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of the pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until all things are accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever keeps the commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

I think this is the one about the OT and all, so what about that breaking the law thingy and how do you intrepret it?

The truth is lost behind a fence, doesn’t matter whatever the topic, whatever the debate… these few biased idiots turned the entire debate on Anti-Islam and Anit-Muslim ism…. They are real exploiters of this forum… I don’t understand how the management of this forum allows them to abuse Prophet and holy books of a global religion… basically these guys don’t have any faith. Muslims never abuse the leaders, founders and prophets of any religion. who are posting anti-Islam, anti-Muslim comments here…. they are the real cancer of today’s society.. Does their freedom of speech means to abuse other religion and faith. It wouldn't be interesting to see just how they explain.

I see a lot of people questioning the most basic principles of what it means to be a Christian. For example, the divinity of Christ.

This is because they have no earthly shepherd with authority given by God. In other words, they have no pope. It's every man and woman to fend for themselves in this world which has Satan roaming around looking for people to confuse.

Protestants are left with the confusing task of trying to reinvent Christianity.

As a result, we now have over 33,000 conflicting and competing Protestant denominations trying to say what it means to be a "Christian". But not one of these has any apostolic authority.

Christ founded only one Church. Look into history and do a process of elimination to which Church has been universally united in doctrine for the past 2,000 years.

Well, I'm just sharing a random piece of information, 'cause I'm bored.

The names of religions seem have more to do with the creation and less or nothing to do with the Creator. For example: Buddhism – Buddha (the name of a man), Confucianism – Confucius (the name of a man), Hinduism – Hind (the name of an area), Judaism – Judah (the name of a tribe) and Christianity – Christ (the name of Jesus),

But Islam is different, Islam is a word coming from the verb "aslama" and it carries the meaning of "surrender", "submission", "obedience", "sincerity" and "peace".
