We are accused of trying to convert all to christianity, shoving our religion down everybodys throat, and other nonsense. I know thats not who we are, but i'm curious is there something we can do to show them all that we care about them, regardless of their beliefs or denominations. I don't know about all of you, but outside of these sites, we are all brothers and sisters right, regardless if they accept us and our views.

I agree. It is important that we do not repay anger with anger, or spite with spite. We, as Christians, have a greater responsibility to always show love first - even when someone is really trying to make us angry.

If someone is being rude or attacking our faith it is OK. God is big enough and loves enough to see through them. We do not have to defend God from those who are not asking sincere questions. God can take care of all His children. : )

Ignore those questions that are not sincere - especially if they anger you. Let it go - don't respond, but DO pray for them.

Remember, it is not by wise and persuasive words, but by the Spirit of God that people are converted.

The best way to show your faith, and to show you care about people, is to reach out to others. "they'll know we are christians by our love" ...not because we shove our idealology down their throats. Reach out in your community, volunteer, be nice to everybody. That's how people will start paying attention to you, not when you start spouting off bible verses.

I am a christian, and believe that the best way to live out my faith is through service to others, not by converting people. It's God's job to judge people, not ours. How dare we go to someone and tell them that their way of life/beliefs are wrong

Jesus once said, I pray for the world, not the whole world but those that thou hath given me , I shall not lose one.

I seek the lost sheep, not the lost. This is a game of blind mans bluff. We don't know who they are. Our commission from the Christ is to spread the word to the four corners of the earth , that his name should be known by all.

We witness three times and kick the dust from our feet. We are not to tell you how to live or speak or judge you. That is between you and God. We are to hate the but love the sinner.

If that offends, so be it.

I do believe in predestination. The chosen will not be able to resist the word of God.

Beautifully phrased. I am a Buddhist but do not consider one person on this board tonight less than a brother or sister. It's really great contemplating this before going to bed. Thank you, kind sir.

*Just don't pray fer us!* And I'd guess we atheists accept you more readily than you accept us, so your last half-sentence dig isn't gonna be particularly well-received.

After all, we've been a very silent and undefined group - not generally even knowing each other - living among your much larger and cohesive numbers. It's only since the 'Net that we've been able to connect. There was no choice other than to be accepting, and our acceptance will continue even though we can't get elected, are sometimes ostracized, etc.

There isn't a way to make someone accept you. We are all brothers and sisters, yes. All you can do is love them and pray, and if it is put upon their heart for them to change, then they will. :)

ive always found the best thing u can ever possibly do ... especially if people know u are a christian ... is to walk perfectly in their sight and live according to what u believe and say ... people will NOT tolerate a hypocrite preaching to them ..

I am a christian. Of course I don't agree with homosexuality. I won't pester people if they don't listen to me, because that is their choice. I would just tell them something about the bible that talks about homosexuality and if they choose not to listen to me, I would drop the subject. I would treat them the same.

If you are among a faith based circle..you have no brothers and sisters; you have only believers and non believers. Those who do not and never will, KNOW.

There can only be brothers and sisters if you belong to a knowledge based circle. Those who KNOW or seek to KNOW.
