I find it almost impossible to believe that anyone could achieve that level of awareness, and actually want to go back to being stupid. I think you should find the right guidance, and keep with it, because that is what we all come to this plane of existence for in the first place. *sm*

Paradigm shifts are sometimes meant to happen; a part of your destiny.

Change is scary. Sometimes new awareness of the reality around you...the sensation that makes you feel more alive then ever before can be overwhelming. I don't know if you can reverse this new found awareness....and my question to you would be, why would you?

Whether you realize it or not, you WERE ready for this new altered state of reality. It's now up to you to decide what to do with it. I know it's scary...so seek the guidance. Find out what to do with this new found knowledge and how to apply it to the world around you.

When we go through these things, awareness not only alters our thinking but the way we view the world around us....and the people in it. We change and sometimes our friends and family don't like it.

To be oblivious seems easier...to want to go back to a place and time where you could just exist is understandable, but in the scheme of things, you can't. Quite possibly, you've broken through that barrier now and more than likely, you've reached a point of no return. Make the best of it. Knowledge, awareness is a great gift.

Change is painful but oh so vital.

Find someone who can help you find solace and help expound all the new meanings.

Good luck and namaste.

Instead of reversing it, why don't you find someone who can give you guidance in becoming adjusted to it. It would be a shame for someone to reverse such an awareness.

I don't think anyone is ever really 'ready' for such a shift since you don't know what it will be like until you experience it. It's kinda like being a parent. People always think they're ready and then when it comes it is nothing like what they expected.

I say don't reverse it...

Yes, or you can be a man and go through with it. You've touched upon absolute reality, it takes people life times and they still never achieve it. Don't be a fool, invest ample time into it, be careful about it, reflect on it every now and then, but don't give it up entirely. Take it from someone who has gone all the way. You won't be dissapointed.

It will stay with you for quite some time. Months, maybe even a year or two.

Just do things that make you unaware of your surroundings. Read a book, a newspaper, watch television, whatever works to make you durr'd to the world around you.

I don't think you can reverse awareness, but in time, it will fade. My suggestion, though is to keep working on meditation and let the awareness develop.

Sorry. Short of a hypnotic block (which I would NOT recommend!) you're stuck with your new awareness. I suppose you can ignore it and stop meditating, but the 'damage' is done. You're really better off growing into it.

wow, it sounds like you need to go to a professional meditator that could guide you through this new awareness, and perhaps instruct you in what kind of meditations may be more appropriate for you.

It is scary now, but why would you want to go back to ignorance? Do you have a Buddhist/Hindu teacher in your area to whom you can speak to about this? That's what I'd suggest. Don't turn back. You are so very brave!! Namaste.
