...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is not about judging people; it’s about worshipping God and learning to love one another. We all sin, so no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's amazing love, proven in Jesus' death and resurrection for our sake, anyone can be forgiven, cleansed, and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to regular Saturday or Sunday worship and children's programs, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs, coffee-and-chat groups, and other activities throughout the week.

Think church isn't for you? Remember, to gain the real treasures--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life--we must go where they can be found, and seek them diligently and persistently.

So, my QUESTION is:
Won't you join us in worship this week, and learn the truth for yourself? We’ll be delighted to see you, of course, but most importantly, you’ll be pleasing Someone who already knows and loves you!

This question isn't SPAM, by the way. I don't care which church you choose, and I have no personal interest in your decision. God bless you!

No rude or disrespectful replies, please. Thanks.

Christians aren't perfect either, but to avoid church for that reason is like a sick person refusing to go to the hospital because the hospital has sick people in it.

Ditto! God loved us enough to give us that day. Without him there would be no tomorrow so yes by all means, God's house is the place to be. You can't knock it till you try it. And once you got it that's all it takes. God bless you for sharing

I have been to church and do not believe in Jesus as the savior.
Sorry.
But I enjoy the Mormon mass and how God is praised.
I would be glad to visit your church and praise the Lord with you, and maybe you can come down the Synagogue with me and praise God there to.
(I won't make you do anything Jewish though) :)

Want to know the truth about Wicca? Go to the Witches of the World section at Witchvox.com:

http://www.witchvox.com/xvn.html

Find a group near you and ask permission to attend a sacred circle. Join us in praising the Goddess, Who is the gracious Mother of all Life, the dust of Whose feet are the hosts of heaven, Whose body encircles the universe. Come honor the Horned God, the beloved Consort of the Goddess, Whose protection mantles the earth and Who is born and dies each year that all may live from the fruits of His body.

Somehow, I doubt you would or will. I'm sorry to say that in my experience, Christians are all too eager to offer such invitations and distinctly reluctant to accept them themselves. Feel free to prove me wrong, though. :-)

(And for the record, this is the one time you'll see me "prosyletizing" on this board, and it's only to hold up a mirror to the Christian practice. As a Wiccan, I normally hold such activities to be against the tenets of my religion.)

I agree.

Most people simply take their opinion from apparent 'public profile'.
But most of them are also simply the blind leading the blind.

You want to know what a people believe??
THEN go straight to the horses mouth to get your answers.

It's no good bantering around here.
The large % don't really know, and mislead others here!

Get some counselling. Delusion is screaming out for attention - and is recognised.
GOD IS IMAGINARY. How difficult is that to understand?

THis is the plus side of it. Now, mind telling me what the down side is? Just curious.

I went to church the better part of my life. I already know the truth about Christianity.

That's one reason why I'm a non-theist now.

I went to church from when I was born to my early teens. My parents indoctrinated in that junk. Since you asked very politely so, No Thanks.
