In the Middle Ages many European churches claimed to have the foreskin of Christ (it was considered a relic). Does anyone know if any European churches today still claim to have the foreskin of Christ and do they let you see it? I'm going to Europe soon and want to see it. Thanks,

“The macro-molecule-to-cell transition is a jump of fantastic dimensions, which lies beyond the range of testable hypothesis. In this area all is conjecture. The available facts do not provide a basis for postulating that cells arose on this planet.” David Green and Robert F. Goldberger, Molecular Insights into the Living Process, (New York, N.Y.:Academic Press, 1967), p. 406-407.

One has only to contemplate the magnitude of this task to concede that the spontaneous generation of a living organism is impossible. Yet we are here as a result, I believe, of spontaneous generation.” George Wald, “The Origin of Life,” Scientific American, 191:48 (May 1954).

“The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way is comparable with the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein.” Sir Fred Hoyle, in “Hoyle on Evolution,” in Nature, vol. 294, (11/12/1981), p. 105

Blaise Pascal argued that it is a better "bet" to believe that God exists, because the expected value of believing that God exists is always greater than the expected value resulting from non-belief.

To publicly proclaim Christianity and then report other people for disagreeing with you. If you are turning people away from Christ and yet doing it in His name are then anti-christian instead of a missionary? I am Christian and I totally agree with this very bad and too common practice.

What I want to know is, Are there other people on YA that are so radically sold out for Jesus that you do care what other people think about you?
Before I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior, I lived life to the fullest. Sex, drugs and violence was a part of my every day life. Now I live just as hard, only the drugs and violence are gone, and I only have sex with my wife.
There is nothing at all short of sin that I would not do if it would lead people to Jesus, how about you???????

It's been prophecied millions would, and things seem to be starting to happen:

"What's happening nowadays in the Muslim world has never happened before," said Father Zakaria Boutros, an Egyptian Coptic priest who is one of the foremost evangelists to the Muslim world. He says a cross-section of Muslims are accepting Jesus Christ. "Young and old, educated and not educated, males and females, even those who are fanatic."

One fanatic Muslim who came to faith in Jesus Christ is Samer Achmad Muhammed. He studied for years to become a Wahhabi sheik, one of the most virulent forms of Islam. He hated Christians and the church, but his heart changed when he heard the Gospel.

"I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ, Jesus forgave me for my sins,” he said. “He gave me eternal life and peace. And the second thing, I really suffered in my daily life, but I had peace, I had joy because Jesus entered my heart."

i know we have the freedom to worship....bla, blah, blah, all i have to say is all monotheisitc religions call for killngs in the name of...........all of them, bible, koran torah....now we know god orders killings all the time, usually against what the religion doesnt understand, cant control, or just to prove its control.

no matter how you view the subject, you must see the danger in religious zealots, of all faiths. is it to the point where religion has become a cancer on "enlightened" society, one to be cut out? b/c we know christans cannot co exist with others that want their freedom.,,,,women who dont want a baby at 18 and gays who wantr to be bound by holy matrimony. also free speech takes a bump when the people demand filth leave our homes...come on, a war that was started on lies, has been kept going my a religious hatred of a different culture......

i personally think religions and their zealots will probably bring down free thinking societies....thoughts?

I believe this website answers many prejudices that protestants have towards Catholics. The author of this website also leaves his email available for Protestants and Catholics alike to contact him and question if unsure or angry etc..

Please have a read my Protestant and Catholic borthers and sisters and tell me what you think. Please look at the website first before commenting. It is easy to speak without thinking as anyone can do that.
