I agree. When people do not believe in God, they have no real basis for moral behavior. When we accept that he exists and we become accountable to him as our source of life, we tend to lead much cleaner lives.
These people looking for skeletons and such, are trying to discredit God's word. It's much easier to connect the dots when we have faith.

The wager presupposes a dualistic world where the choice is the Abrahamic deity or no deity at all. I choose a different option- Most gods actually exist, just not the Abrahamic one.
Look- I found a bottle. Anyone want a drink?

On another question, a Good Christian wrote that it is never too late to accept Jesus. So, if the Rapture occurs, all we need to do is call out at the end.
Pascal was wrong. We can live our lives free from the judgementalness and arrogance of assuming we have a monopoly on the truth. And, if it turns out we're wrong, we get ourselves 'saved' in the end.
I can live with that.

Pascals Wager has been debunked as a logical argument for a hundred years. Only foolish, ignorant, or illogical people still use it as an argument.
When intelligent people see this wager used as an argument, they usually laugh at you.

I don't know about what he said, but maybe what he meant was that it was simply something you should check out for yourself and see how real it is before you discredit it. I would say try to find God and in the words of the matrix see how far the rabit hole really goes.
If you want help please e-mail me:
I won't bother placeing it here anymore.

I believe I have a Creator-Designer and I believe the Holy Bible is His inspired Word written by men willing to do His will. Pray for God to lead as you read the Bible for youself and pray for truth to be revealed to you.

believing God exists doesn't have so much to do with any benefit, you have to feel God and be motivated from the belief

If you believe in God, die, and find out He don't exist, then who did you harm by living a good and clean life? But if you don't believe in God, die, and find out He do exist, then you're in trouble.
