Atheists just happen not to believe in God or deities. It does not mean however that he can only be a communist. That is a misconception brought about by the religions when they were not allowed to enter some communist country. It is not because of religion, it is because they were found to be supplying articles and support to underground movements to topple down the government.
Hitler was a brutal dictator using Marxist, communists and autocratic type of leadership yet he is a Catholic and at the time of his reign, he was being supported by the Vatican.
An atheist can even be an effective negotiator for business and a non-partisan capitalist for that matter.

Say what ? All Christians could be Communists because of the fact a rich Christian is an oxymoron. All extremely-Capitalists could be Atheists because an significant area of being an extremely capitalist isn't giving a frogg approximately all and assorted or something aside from procuring wealth

I dont need to imagine anyhthing i think therefore I am..

And my thinking say atheism is the way forward and capitalism will pay for it...

We are very much alike.

Christians and Muslims need to get diffrent books the books they believe in apparently come from the same source but say diffrent things and they want to have religous battles against one another to try and get a prophet who has been dead for 2000 years to come back to life and end the world...

What more do we need to know...how can we build a big enough asylum...no we need our capitalist society to build a station on mars so the sane people of the world can move there and live in peace.

I'm a atheist and I'm NOT a communist either------I do think a communistic society is impossible to achieved, communism borrows some ideas from atheism, but I can assure you christians that Mao wasn't a atheist, he was very superstitious, he was a pathetic, uneducated peasant who happened to learned some communism....and Stalin wasn't either, they just used atheism as their political excuse.

Who are more educated?...huh? the southern Americans or Northern Americans?....and who are more religious?...who breeds KKK?...who kept slavery?

Not at all. Ayn Rand, who I greatly admire, was both an Atheist and a Capitalist. I think the Objectivist philosophy fails in its attempt to postulate a doctrine of the rights of man in the absence of a doctrine of the divinity of man, myself, but aside from that I agree with most of her work.

Ever read Ayn Rand?

I was more conservative back in my agnostic days. Now that I follow Christ I believe I am becoming more liberal. Actually I willingly dismissed ALL old beliefs to follow Christ wherever he chooses to lead me. This seems to be to speak up against the cruelties brought about by intolerance and indifference, as practiced by some of my fellow Christians.

Many of the more ignorant do think that Atheism is the same thing as Communism.

I am a die hard liberal democrat but I vote for the person not the party. I voted for Reagan twice. He was the last republican candidate for president that I voted for, however.

Ah, good, there's at least two of us.

Although I think atheism and voting Libertarian are similar in that people kind of need to 'come out' for both.
