We have to move, I'm scared about taking my kids from their school, we can't seem to find a house around close enough that we can afford. What should I do? Should I persevere or just find something further away and the kids can start in a new school? I don't want to but it seems to be headed that way. Fearful of the future.

I didn't know Matt could count to 99. Congratulations, I didn't know you had turned 6 yet.

I love your brillian bibliography, worthy of a Nobel prize, oh yeah.

And 80% of atheists cannot pronounce "evolution" yet You fundies can pronounce "creationism?' Last time I checked creationism has more syllables, while fundies have fewer brain cells...."this does not compute..."

Frankly, no TV for you for a week, now go sit in the corner...

Cheesecake makes more sense than God. I see it all the time. So why don't we worship cheesecake? It has never smitten anyone (except through heart attacks) never caused floods, never plagued crops. It has brought relaxation and bliss to all. Why don't we stick it on a kebab-excuse me, cross- and worship it instead? Seriously, real question, want to know why you believe in your hocus pocus instead of the real world.

Although this has to do with cheesecake, so I lied. I suppose I go to cheesecake hell...:(

If so, how long did they stick around, how did they leave? Did you wake up one day to find they were not there anymore, or did you have to send them away? Do you think they had any spiritual significance for you?

There is a reason I am asking this question.

I'd say 80% of atheists cannot even pronounce the theories they claim they believe in, so how can these people be taken seriously? How do they hope to gain converts to their new religion if their followers are mindless sheep that merely take the word of richard dawkins as the gospel?

I was thinking, when we go to heaven for eternity, what are we going to do there? I thought there must be no trees or animals since we are just souls with no physical body needs to eat and bathe.

For example...
-One of my friends told me that Catholics worshipped statues and Mary and were therefore going to hell.
-I had a neighbor that told me I had a black heart because I was Catholic and did not go to their church.
-Another one of my friends said "Being Catholic is okay, but it is preferable to be Protestant because Catholics are low-class"

Do other Christian denomination face this (for those of you who are not Catholic)?
Or is Anti-Catholicism the most accepted form of bigotry in this country?

I've just been looking around Y!A and noticing some Christians saying Atheists are trying to push their beliefs on Christians, and providing no proof of it.

I can say that Christians want to press their beliefs on the nation by trying to take away homosexual rights, trying to press the Creationism religion onto schools to remove Evolution (which has a large amount of proof defending it against the 0 proof that is Creationism), trying to change history by saying the United States was founded by Christians and Christian ideas (the founding fathers were not Christians. Thomas Paine even spoke out against Christianity and all forms of Church. Read The Age of Reason), etc.

I like a little picture I found a few days ago. It's a pie chart showing that about 80% of America is Christian, and 10% is nonreligious with a chat bubble from Christianity saying "Help! We're being opressed!" If I had it, I'd show you. It's quite true, really. Just picture it in your mind.

The need to tear down others is a concept i will never understand. What makes people think lower of any person regardless of their actions or behavior? Love ,people, is a attribute that this world is missing today ,and we are the cause of its absence.

The big question: Where do we come from, what caused the whole Universe to exist?

Correct answer: nobody knows for sure.

Atheists say: I don't know, I'm waiting for more evidence on how it happened.
Theists say: I don't know, so God/Allah/another god must have done it, but I don't know how.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that basicly the same point of view?
