in the quran it mentions jesus, if so, why are we soo against each other?

Islam is to summit to the one God
The God of Abraham through his sons
Christianity and Judaism = Issac
Islam = Ishmael
Just as Jesus (pbuh) was a decedent of Abraham through Issac. So was Muhammad (pbuh) was a decedent through Ishmael.

Islam believes in three revelations from God that came through three prophets. One of those prophets is Christ. Islam believes that Muhammed (in a sense) came to correct the ways that Christianity was wrong. They do not beleive that Jesus is the son of God and believe God (Allah) has no son. Muslims also do not believe they are need of salvation in the same way that a Christian believes.
Christianity doesn't beleive the Qu'ran is the word of God. Some people do not believe that Allah is even the same God that the Christians worship. They see Christ as the son of God or even as God in the flesh. He isn't simply a prophet as Islam suggests.
In a way, they are related because they are both Abrahamic traditions. They follow the God of Abraham (Yahweh or Allah or God). They are also releated to Judaism. However, sadly, the three do not get along very well thanks to lack of understanding.

Muslims are descendants of Abraham This is another huge theological issue. The God of the Christians is a Trinity.
However, Allah isn't a Trinity.
And just because we believe in Jesus (pbuh) that doesn't mean we worship him like Christians do. Therefore, My answer: NO. we aren't related either.

there isn't enough to proclaim to anyone that Islam has a whole lot of Christianity in it. Christianity is centered upon the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus, that is the entire message of Christianity. Islam rejects the death and resurrection of Jesus. Therefore it has nothing to do with Christianity.

ALL religions are related. But don't tell any religious people! They are ALL praying to the same God, and he says the same things to them (through Jesus, Buddha etc) about loving others and loving God. The messages ALL boil down to the exact same thing. They're all arguing about nothing.

Keep digging......research the cross, the name Jesus, the trinity, rapture, where the modern American Bible came from and what time, what ChristMast, xmas tree, easter, etc all mean and where they come from let alone realize Allah is just another word for God, not His name....and the truth will begin to show.
HIS name is YAHWEH, YHWH.

yes they are, it all comes down to two things - is Jesus divine or prophet, and who the eldest child was, the one born first to the slave woman,(as the muslims believe) or the one born later to the wife (as the christians believe)

islam was kind of made up by the basis of christianity. so in a way they are related.
