Some examples for me:

Abinadi's wilingness to follow God's commandment to return to King Noah and give his life up to testify of the Gospel

King Benjamin's final sermon

Jesus visiting the Nephites and giving them a personal glimpse of Glory

Moroni hiding away the plates in total faith that they would be needed when the time was right to restore a True Gospel

THE BIBLE DOES NOT CONTRADICT IF YOU THINK IT DOES YOU JUST HAVEN'T STUDIED IT DEEP ENOUGH. TOO MANY PEOPLE FOLLOW WHAT THEIR RELATIVES OR PREACHERS TELL THEM INSTEAD OF SEARCHING FOR THEMSELVES. THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE. YOUR SOUL DEPENDS ON IT.

Isn't it better to believe in Zeus and be wrong, then not believe and have him zap you with lighting?

Take a shot!

of different beliefs?
I began this (and btw, I'm a female for those who keep saying that guy) because someone was posting slanderous statements about other users here. It was a counter-active measure, and I covered people of all different faiths. It was a feel-good and get-to-know-you exercise and it was educational for many. Tolerance and acceptance come from learning and educating those who react out of fear and ignorance.
None of the information given out was anything not already on someone's profile. Maybe some people will take the time to click on them.. get to know people a bit and be just a bit more accepting of others.

Could it be that they are above the RELIGIOUS bashing cultures on this site? The Christian's, Mormons, JW's, Muslum's, Athiest's, and Wiccan's seem to be the dominant force here.

I am A Christian, but I doubt my faith at times. I pray to God and such, but I realize that faith is believing in something without knowing for sure. That, of course, causes me some doubt. Are there other Christians out there who doubt? and is that wrong? I just don't understand how everyone can be so sure they are right. none of us will know for sure until we die... I've posted before, and a few atheists told me to make the leap to non-belief, but i'm not interested in their opinions for the sake of this post. i'm asking Christians...

I saw a television show recently on the History Channel about hell, and a Muslim imam told how hell would not last forever for most people, and eventually almost all would make it to heaven after suffering in hell, and only the most vile and evil people would spend all eternity in hell without ever going to heaven. Is this what most Muslims believe? Can anyone explain this belief more fully or refute it?

Then doesn't that make the devil more powerful than God?

Okay, okay, god is all-powerful. But He strives for our faith, and a messenger of Christ should spread the Word.

I find this a contradition. God would judge us, not on fashionable values that happened to be christian, but on the basis of whether our souls were good.

But the devil doesn't even attempt to influence. He is a sitting target. He is present in all of us. We are born all of sin. And it is more natural to sin.

If there is more sin than there is good, then, regardless of the challenges that His children are posed with, does not sin prevail?

He was born over 200o years ago, never did anything wrong in his 33.5 years on this Earth, was murdered for a crime He did not commit, only stayed in the grave for three days, then he was seen by over 500 people, rode on a clowd to Heaven, and will return for all His friends one day.
Everyone will meet Him one day. Have you met Him yet?
