if you just commit lust and you also do many good things, would you still get a lot of punishment?

If your talking about catholic theology that is a mortal sin you must ask God for forgiveness and go to confession so a priest can absolve you. You will not "receive" punishment if you repent but if you die with a mortal sin on your soul you are lost. Doing good things is nothing without repentance.

In the bible in the book of James 2:10 " For whosoever shall keep the law; and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all ". Any thing contrary to the word of God is a sin.

Lust is unavoidable (assuming you are human). Just do not let it take control over your life. Don't forget love is more powerful. Your punishment will be as great as your guilt.

Your punishment will depend on what it is that you are lusting after. If you're lusting after righteousness, then I think you're home free.

Many good things? What things on this earth are "good" when compared to God?

The seven deadly sins were invented by the catholic church. Look through the bible and you will find no reference to them

The seven deadly sins are just more religious nonsense... Pay them no mind except to treat those you agree with as you would any of your personally adopted morals....
