Granted, there is a lot of sin in the world, and it is natural for us to sin, because we are all born sinners. The question is, why do most of us choose to stay sinners, rather than having God forgive us our sins by repenting and accepting Christ? Is it because Satan is more powerful than God, as you suggest? I don't think it's because Satan has more power than God. The devil is deceptive, but some of us want to be deceived. It's easier. That way we can do our own thing; we don't have to be accountable to God, we don't have to get up off the throne of our lives and let Christ sit down.
It's true that, for the unrepentant, Satan doesn't need to tempt you to sin, but once you get saved, the Satanic attack begins. We Christians are a very big target for the devil. You can only relate to this if you've been there.
Satan is currently the prince of this world, but that's going to change when Christ returns for those who love Him.

Sin prevails because the nature of all men is corrupt and because it is never the most popular thing to obey God. There is no paradox here, but a parallel. I am sure with your intellect that you can see the obvious here.
God is still on the throne and ruling the universe and He always will be. The devil will never stop tempting and deceiving people until time comes to and end and he is called to give an account of his actions along with everyone.
The Bible says, "Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life, and few there be that find it. Broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many go in thereat."
People complain that Christians are always condemning others to Hell. The truth is that people choose to go there even when they are warned against it. It will be God who does the condemning. Jesus said that we are not to fear those who can only hurt our body but rather fear Him who can cast both body and soul into Hell. He is talking about God! Nobody else has that power.
Suppose I told you your house was on fire in the middle of the night when you didn't want to be disturbed and you cursed me and told me to leave you alone. I tried and tried to help you but you would not listen. The fire came and you burned to death. WAS I INSENSITIVE AND CRUEL FOR WANTING TO WARN YOU? Hell fire is far more devastating than a house fire and it burns but is never put out. How much more should I warn people to stay away from that place.
If anyone can't see love in attempting to help someone escape the wrath of God by showing them there is a way out and at the same time warning them of hell they are seriously blind to reality. The reason there is no fear of God in the world is because there is no preaching of Hell and wrath and judgment in the church in this generation.
Yes, God is a god of love and compassion to those who will receive it, but to those who reject the precious gift of His Son on Calvary he reserves His wrath. What would you do if you gave your son to die to save someone else and they laughed in your face, mocked you or ignored you and led others to do the same?
God is Holy and just but He will not tolerate or trifle with sin. Use your intellect to study the Bible from cover to cover and you will come up with nothing that resembles reality. Turn your life to Christ, confess your sin and repent, and you will read the Bible with God's eyes through the power of the Holy Spirit who will teach you through a refined intellect and guide you into truth you cannot see any other way. You will never question God or the love of His people after that.

Actually - the devil CONTINUALLY attempts to influence us
Genesis 4:7
If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."
Your statement about it being natural to sin is in ere I'm afraid. When God created the world and us, it was very good - then we sinned. We are living in a fallen world, in fallen bodies, with fallen thoughts. There isn't any other way to get out of the mess except to strive to find God.
Yes it's a challenge, but He made it easy by sending Jesus to die in our place.

None of our souls are "good" enough in God's eyes, because we all have the stain of sin. Sin had prevailed, until God paid the ultimate sacrifice and took the punishment for our sins. The devil is a very powerful fallen angel, and humans are too weak to prevail on our own. That is why we must trust that God has paid the ransom for our souls.

God is all powerful, but it all depends on if the people choose to believe in God or if they choose to do more evil and follow the devil. Its mainly the people's choice. Not God's choice. That is why people say there is more sin then good. But in the Christians life, the good does prevail!

Here on earth evil does prevail because man has freewill to do what he wants. God gave Satan the authority to temporary rule here on earth. Satan does influence man's thoughts. It's a struggle for man to fight their fleshy desires and it's only through the Spirit of God that we can overcome evil with good which is with the help of God.
No one is good but God and He knows what we are and to get into heaven is not dependant on how good we are. We have a evil nature and Satan just tries to get us to follow the rebellion and reject God. It's a spiritual battle.

I can accept that, but it does not mean he is more powerful by God in any means! the devil has already been defeated! Our job is to stand our ground against him, and save the people around us from a fiery eternity! I don't really care what you believe in, if you fear the devil is more powerful than the Lord, then you do that, but he has already been defeated! And i am on the winning side, are you? As for me and my house, we will always follow the Lord!

Why did man sin in the first place ??? Satan became a serpent and deceived Eve to sin against Gods law. 1Peter 5:8 " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil,as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour ". James 4:7 " Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you ".

Sin only prevails for those who don't accept the free gift of grace. Christians are never perfect or free of sin, they are just covered by the blood of Christ who is our guiltless sacrafice.

Sin vs. evil:
On this earth sin is everywhere.
But beyond this planet and the universe is God.
And God is abundant in mercy and grace.
Earth is temporay.
God is eternal.
