spend time in the Word and in prayer. Do your best to avoid temptation or anything that would distract you from serving God. Try to find friends who are spiritually focused.

Accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior is the only way you can even have God. If you have not done this please do, it goes like this just tell God that you are a sinner, that you are sorry for your sins and will turn from them, and that you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. Saying the prayer outloud helps too, it did for me anyways. Once you said this prayer and really meant and believed it then you are reborn as a child of God, now through the power of God within you, you can live a life that will please him. Notice how I use the word "Lord" and savior. Lord means master or ruler over you so when you become a child of God, God is your Lord let him run every area of your life. God can hold up the trillions of stars in space surely he can help you with your life, but you must choose him first. To get a closer relationship with God, especially in the beginning, pray alot and spend alot of time in his word, the Bible. Then you will find that your entire being revolves around God and His will for your life. God bless you.

a better question is why should you? If there was an all powerful god, do you really think he cares that you worship him? or do you think he would rather you treated others with compassion and respect. Do you really think that blind faith is a virtue? or rather that knowledge and understanding is a virtue?
Do yourself a huge favour and spend all your time learning in school, how the world really works, about other cultures and peoples. strive to be knowledgeable so that you can make a difference in your future and for future generations.
If there is a god, I'm sure you will get more points for seeking truth and helping others than you will cowering at the idea of hell or waiting for a reward of heaven.
Once school is done, then worry more about such an un-important and unanswerable querie.

If you start your day with God in prayer and Bible study, gradually your life will automatically revolve around Him daily. Just try 5-10 each morning - pray in the shower, while dressing - stuff like that. Just talk to Him like someone standing in the room...that's how I got my life to focus and revolve around Him.

Put God's Kingdom first in your life by reading your Bible daily, associate regularly with God's people and bring your actions into harmony with God's will. It is a process and no one ever actually arrives but there is always room for improvement and God recognizes that you are either doing it with your whole heart or not. He wants it all but the dividends he pays are beyond imagination!!

I'm not sure how to answer this because you have no reasonings. If it's because you just want to be more involved with religion, I would say go into theology. If it's because you're looking for a life change, I wouldn't say drop everything...just find a church you're very interested in and get involved with groups that you can. Go to the bible study classes and the like. I don't think God would want people to sit on bended knee at the alter 100% of their life...life is life. It's meant to be lived. You can eat a hamburger without religion, as long as you've said grace.

In Thessalonians 5:17 We are told to pray without ceasing. If we keep talking to God about all aspect of our lives, we keep our lives centered on Him.

In Romans 10:17 we are told that faith comes by hearing - and hearing by the word of God. ...Pick a time of day to set aside and read a little scripture... like a Psalm a day. Keeping your soul fed keeps it healthy - and God's Word feeds our soul.

I pray you have success in school! Peace.

Everything you do, do ot to/for God. Get an A on a test for God. Pray to him continually. Just talk to him all the time. You don't have to have a set prayer, just talk to him as if he were you friend at school. Always think about him, and thank him continually.

Read the book "Purpose Driven Life"

Life isn't about you and what you get out of life, it's about God. Nothing would exist without God and that includes you and I. Thank God for making you, and know that he loves you so much, that he was willing to sacrifice the life of his son as ransom for the salvation of your soul.

How often do you think about God through out your day? God wants us to seek him early meaning that we should seek his guidance on everything that we do; every decision we make. People tend to make decisions without consulting God and then they ask God to bless their decisions. Read your Bible EVERY morning. And pray every morning. Do you pray before taking every test? Do you think about God and if what you are doing or how you are behaving is a good testimony for God?
