I wrestle with it a lot. I especially did while I was taking a lot of philosophy courses. However, it seems like whenever I doubt, something happens to make me believe even more. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doubting and questioning. I think it's only natural. (I bet I get a lot of thumbs down) I wouldn't worry about it too much. Trust the voice inside you.

I think many people have occassional doubts. If you spend too much time on yahoo answers reading what the atheists say, it can be really hard.
I find that stepping away from my computer and spending time praying and reading the Bible really help me to stay centered in my faith.
You are right that we won't know for sure until we meet Jesus face to face. I can't imagine how difficult this life would be without the Holy Spirit guiding me along. I will say a prayer that you will feel peace and confidence in Christ Jesus.

We all doubt. Even Atheists doubt that there isn't a God now and then.
The easiest thing to do is look around and admire the beauty and intricacy of nature, because you can be anywhere and do this. Of course, preayer and reading the Bible every day is great, but if you are still doubting, revert to my original suggestion.
I would give you scripture, but someone else probably already has something better.
Blessings

Yes I have doubted and questioned.
As you approach these doubts and questions with your mind and heart, I believe your faith will grow stronger. Your faith will be able to stand against more and more doubts.
If you ever have specific doubts, feel free to EMAIL me.
I do feel like you can't know anything 100% proven for sure. I believe God exsists, and I am 99.989% sure. But not 100%,, I am not even 100% sure if I exsist. Yet in both cases the evidence seems to support such conclusions.

I think this is perfectly normal. I doubt it too sometimes. In fact we wouldn't be human if we didn't doubt it. I think that when we do go through these periods, we become stronger in our faith, because we realize the truth and what is right. You probably will get some nasty comments from other Christians but don't listen to them. They will be lying if they tell you that they never doubt. Like I said it's human nature to question things. The point is coming back to reality and know that what you believe to be true IS true.

doubting is human nature. Here is the real reason most ppl don't wanna believe. If there really is a God, that means that they can't do whatever they want. Everyone is free to do what they please and without any worries about the afterlife.
Just look around you and you will see the truth. How in the world did the Earth come to existence? Evolution??? LOL I think not. To think we got 'lucky' is too much for me. You would have a better chance at winning the lottery 5 X's in a row.

Christians do know for sure. Faith is following Christ's teachins without knowing why for sure. The Bible says to first obey then you will know. It is normal to doubt. Ask God to increase your faith, but remember even a small amount of faith is still faith and is pleasing to God.

at times when things seemed to get out of control and everything went wrong, yes that nasty little thing called doubt popped up. and yes it happened quite a few times. but not for very long...now doubt doesn't even enter the picture.
i don't believe its wrong. Jesus even said to question and seek. you have to have faith in order to continue questioning and also try to not take things so personally.
the road to finding faith is one that has challenges, victories, downfalls and uplifts. one needs a few road blocks thrown in the road in order to learn and understand and appreciate.
stay strong in your faith and you will be rewarded.

I honestly feel for you. But I have never doubted. I think your doubt comes from satan. He is trying to confuse you. Faith is all about believing in what you can not see. I hate to say this, but if you are having serious doubt then you are not saved. Once you are saved, your faith in Jesus cannot be shaken. Ask the Lord to give you reasurrance, and to comfort you. It wouldn't be a bad Idea to accept Jesus as your savior again.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, things not seen. Try to remember that the devil does not want you to have hope. It is just an attack of the enemy and yes, I think it happens to all Christians. When you have doubt, think of a Bible verse to fight back with (and say it out loud!), that's how Jesus fought back when he was tempted with the same things we are.
