I always, (ok this is embarassing but serious) loved reading the testimonies in the beginning. Testimonies are my very favorite.
But, other than that, I loved when Jesus came to the Nephites

I love your question, mine would have to be when Alma the younger was struck dumb for three days and was in pain and but then remembered his father speaking about Jesus Christ and his pain was fading into joy. That just showed the love and forgiveness that God has for us.
