To those who responded to my question/comments only one seemed to get it. Others got even nastier, judgmental or lectured on "turn the other cheek."
I don't care what anyone calls me, believe about me, etc. I DO CARE WHEN THEY THROW DIRT IN THE FACE OF THE MAN WHO WAS SCROURGED BEYOND ALL HUMAN RECOGNTION AND AT EXTREME COST TO SAVE PEOPLE FROM THEMSELVES. I'm deeply grateful and awed for what Jesus voluntarily did for me. Anyone know what a Roman cat'onine-tails is" It's a multi-pronged whip with hooks on the end that when pulled back from a lash across the skin, rips the skin away from the body. That's what Jesus went through for ALL of us, even those who make fun and make dirty remarks. Jesus demonstrated Righteous anger when he drove the money changers from the temple with a whip. He did not smile and turn away and say, "Oh God will take care of them. Anger is not a sin when it is appropriate anger.
