I'd like to ask that this question is only answered by Christians who understand the scriptures, thanks!

Does anyone understand the reason WHY as Christians, taking on the mark of the beast would make it so that they are eternally separated from God. What if they did not fall down and worship the beast? If we were living in the Great Tribulation and if that mark was given out, other than the fact that God says not to do it in the Bible, why should a person refuse to take on the mark?

I was reading the Bible and kept finding places where it says God likes the smell of burning flesh. "A sweet savour unto the Lord" is the way they put it.

And in a few places God himself said it.

Doesn't that mean that God still likes the smell of burning flesh, since the church people say that God never changes?

If you want to answer this question, just answer the question -- don't start telling me Jesus said this and Jesus did that...

THIS QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT JESUS.

Two simple queries: Does God never change? and Does it say over and over again that he likes the smell of burning flesh?

If you need to bring in extraneous stuff don't bother answering.

Some people feel that testing God is a mistake. I don't understand this. I heard a speaker once say that she tested God when her life was in danger. A little voice told her to test God, and she said ' if you don't let these people find me, I will know you exist'. I related this to my cousin, and I knew by the look on her face she did not approve. She is not the only person that has expressed a dislike in testing God. Why is that?

...and put me in a front of dillema-accept him or burn in Hell forever?
I was never asked. And now I have to suffer?Does anybody have answer for that?
Why he let it happen. If he's such a smart being and knows everything up in a front, then why he created some people knowing that they'll go to hell.Doesn't make sense.

"He created you to fellowship with him and worship him."-what if i choose not?I'm just gonna burn in Hell?
p.s.of course,I'm talking about christianity.

Perhaps the Holocaust was God's test of humanity. Had we learned to step forward to protect others? How many of His children would participate in the atrocities? How long would it take His children to stop the atrocities? If He was testing us, we failed miserably. Failed again in the Armenian genocide. Failed again in the Rwandan genocide. And are we failing once more in the Darfur genocide? Words and prayers are not enough. We must be proactive in saving the thousands dying right now, today, in Darfur, Sudan.

Can we turn our backs on them because they're a different color, or because they worship another god? They are God's creation -- each and every one a precious being!

Looking at comments made by Creationists, I'm not sure they really understand who Charles Darwin was.

He was a man who made some discoveries about how the world works. He is not a God, or an Idol, or even the one who came up with the theory of evolution.

I understand that Creationists do not accept evolution, but at least study it a little so you don't sound so ignorant when bashing it.

Is that the problem.

Do you have to read it slowly to stay Christian.

I've seen some Christians say it took 'em 2 years.

It took me a few months.

Was that what screwed me up?

I am not a believer and when people find that out they get so upset. It's all the sudden like a debate with them. I don't freak out on them when I find out that they are religous nor do I question every way they believe. Why can't a non-believer be accepted like a believer is?

To those who responded to my question/comments only one seemed to get it. Others got even nastier, judgmental or lectured on "turn the other cheek."
I don't care what anyone calls me, believe about me, etc. I DO CARE WHEN THEY THROW DIRT IN THE FACE OF THE MAN WHO WAS SCROURGED BEYOND ALL HUMAN RECOGNTION AND AT EXTREME COST TO SAVE PEOPLE FROM THEMSELVES. I'm deeply grateful and awed for what Jesus voluntarily did for me. Anyone know what a Roman cat'onine-tails is" It's a multi-pronged whip with hooks on the end that when pulled back from a lash across the skin, rips the skin away from the body. That's what Jesus went through for ALL of us, even those who make fun and make dirty remarks. Jesus demonstrated Righteous anger when he drove the money changers from the temple with a whip. He did not smile and turn away and say, "Oh God will take care of them. Anger is not a sin when it is appropriate anger.
