Indignation is just a sweet sounding synonym for anger. Once you do not let anger, under any guise, get the better of you, then you are OK.
Deciding righteousness can be a very subjective affair, unless you stick strictly to the rules applicable in the circumstance. Where there are no rules, then has whatever or whoever is concerned
a) Not done all that had been previously agreed to or
b) Encroached on other persons or their property?
These two laws are what erudite scholar Richard Maybury found to be the only two that all religions have in common. They are excellent yardsticks to start a test for righteousness.
