Spirit, the spirit fills the soul?

So the body has a soul, but when born again, born of His Spirit, the spirit birth fills the soul (like a glove) within the body?

This has been asked before and I'm going to ask it again.

If atheists believe that Atheism is not a religion then why do they bother to debate, fight, insult, and persecute people in the Religion/Spirituality section?

Religion = a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe

It is in fact a religion by this definition. So please stop lieing and acknowledge the facts. Which you seem to eager to say to others but not yourselves.

Why are we not experiencing atheists taking aim outside of churches?

Or why are we not seeing Christians bombing abortion clinics?

I'm not a religious man, in fact I'm fairly anti-religion, too many people have died because of all of the different relgions.
What amazes me though, is I just put a question on here asking whether people beleived religion to be outdated now. I was amazed at the amount of angry responses I got, people seemed to suddenly hate me because I don't believe in their religion. Doesn't this kind of go against many of the ideals of religion? Shouldn't religious people be a little more enlightened and less angry?

i hate it when people say that just because you are of a different religion than them that means you are going to hell even if you are a good person, so here is a list of people that you can choose from that you might say will go to hell.=
muslims,
jews,
christians,
hindus,
confucist,
athiest,
people who practice voodoo,
and any other religian that one might say would go to hell
or if you want to share your opinion about specific people heres another list.=
hitler, yes it would seem that where this person went is kind of obvios but some people told me that a muslim or jew would go to hell faster before hitler becouse hitler was a christian.
saddam,
bin laden,
bush, and any other president,
general Agustin Bizimungu,
and any other infamous or inportant person you can think of.

im right about this?
(A) in genesis 1:3-1:4 he created light and divided the darkness and named them day and night (DAY1)But 1:14-1:16 he did the same thing but this "light" ment the sun and the moon (DAY2) the first "light" and "darkness" probable ment good and evil
(B)also in gen.1:11-1:28 every time he created somthing God said ,"after his kind". that means there was something before it thats probable where the fossils came from to the "Evolution Theory"
(C)gen 1:26 God said ,"Let us make man in our image after our likeness ". im still in 8th grade but i know he was talking to or about two or more things because the use of "us"and "our" those thing were probable angels but we dont have wings like the angels in the pics so thats proof angels dont have wings

do you think im close about this?

there is alot more you can learn from genesis dont get me started about the rest of it

I am a christian but I notice that so many are so quick to judge and say youre going to hell and sometimes before you even explain yourself! They are homophobic instead of showing the love of jesus. While at the same time excusing other sins such as heterosexual fornication. Yes homosexual sex is wrong but the bible should not be used as a tool for hating people. We should hate the sin not the person. But I never see it this way. Even Jesus when he was on earth ate dinner with sinners!

Mark 9:40 "for whoever is not against us is for us"

-Luke 9:50 "Do not stop him," Jesus said, "for whoever is not against you is for you."

Luke 11:23 (opposite) "He who is not with me is against me"

This say you don't need to believe in Christianity as long as you don't disbelieve it?

God condemns the serpent to crawl on his belly and eat dust for eternity. Since there is no evidence to support the fact that the serpant is Satan (and even if it did, revelations depicts satan on legs not crawling on his belly) and since we know serpants don't eat dust we come to 1 of 2 conclusions. Either 1. Bible contradiction or 2. Genesis cannot be taken literally (IE it is simply an allegory)

What do you think?

When I first came onto R&S, I will be honest, I knew nothing about other Religions and since being here I have learnt a fair bit. Mostly that most of us believe in the same thing that God is important in our lives and nearly everyone has the same goal to be with Jesus in Heaven

What have you learnt from this site?

How can anyone die of starvation ever if God made such a promise? Are all famines a myth? Even if there is enough food to feed the world right now, how do you explain all the starvation that happened a thousand years ago when there literally was NOT enough food?

Ok. If God loves us for who we are does he look down upon homosexuality? And could a rapist claim "its who they are" so God should love him the same as a saint? Im so confused but I know I cant stand "Sunday Christians" who claim that Homosexuality is wrong...Society praises SEX more than they do God. All I want is to worship God and be happy in the process. Im trying to have faith that the "men" who composed the bible did so exactly as God wanted...but if that is correct...are these feeling I have wrong or evil? I know men and women are supposed to be together to reproduce but why bring more innocent children into this starving, hateful, cruel world? Our world is forever changing, Does God want us to bring children into this world today still?
