I have often wondered this myself! It is funny to see Christians turn on each other, by saying "oh their belief was not strong enough that's why god let it happen...blah blah blah.."What a cruel and unforgiving god the bible comes from don't you think?

I have seen Him provide for those who trust in Him time and time again. I have yet to see a starving Christian -- that is someone who is not just a Chrisian by name.
The time will come soon enough when this world will be remade and the effects of sin will no longer cause such suffering. Don't blame God for the suffereing of a world that turned its back on Him. If you don't give your life to God there is not much He can do with it.
Will you be there with God when that happens? You can very easily, you know.

Why do you accuse God of what man has done? Poor management of farm land, overpopulation, and greed are the root causes of starvation. Man has overworked the land, produced too many people for the food supply, and stolen millions of dollars of relief supplies and money that could be feeding the hungry.
Then there's the fact that certain countries have drained the world's resources through their own greed, selfishness, and short-sightedness. If all of us who lived in wealthy countries took a little better care of the resources and didn't use them up necessarily, there would be enough for everyone.
So don't blame God for what man has done. The blame is purely on our shoulders, not His.

There was enough food then and enough food now. When you don't follow God's Word, and don't prepare for famine during times of feasting, that's what happens. Don't blame God if you don't listen to what He says.
God DOES provide, He gave us His Word on how to be ready, there are technical details on just such a problem and how to solve it.

God provides. There is enough food in the world for everyone. The problem is people do not want to share. The rich nations must help the poor nations. There are butter mountains. There are milk lakes. People pay their farmers not to produce anymore food because the earth can feed all the people. However, the rich have to share their bounty with the poor. We have to go out of our way to help our needy brothers and sisters. We have to teach the virtue of generosity and selflessness. To kill people is not the answer. To love is always the answer.

When sin entered the world (Adam and Eve) the ground was cursed. not by God but by the sin. It's what I like to call one of the penalties for sin. This makes it hard to grow food thereby causing occasional famines. God promises to provide many things in many places of the Bible. When God makes a promise he always fulfills it. But you must have faith that he will. God has not promised to provide spesifically for all people.

You very seriously need to learn about the subject you choose to ask a question about. You are making no sense what-so-ever about the starvation thing. God will provide to those who believe. Is that fact to difficult for you?

The reality is that a lot of governments are so hostile, corrupt and unstable that they will not allow food and other supplies to reach their citizens. War and politics. It's always been this way.
