What are your thoughts on Luke 21:32 ?
Obviously, some of those things didn't happen before the disciples died. He still hasn't "come back in a cloud with power and great glory"(Luke 21:27). Is Jesus wrong? Luke wrong? Am I reading this wrong? Help please.

I thought that the jews were part of a religion not race. Does this mean that i would not be able to convert to their religion. It's like saying one mexican and an Italian are catholics, so they are both of the same race.

And don't be a smartass and say that we are all part of the "human" race.

I thought that everyone was equal. Atheist who believe in evolution say that different races evolve at different times and races evolve from other races meaning that one race is better than another.

Ok, I went to a catholic school for 12 long years. I have read and recited more passages in the Bible than I care to remember and for the life of me, I have never been able to find the part in the Bible that condemns homosexuality.

Can someone please post the actual, specific words or passages that indicate that homosexuality is morally wrong?

Yes, I realize this is the wrong catagory but you guys brought it up.

I received answers about global warming. A couple of you said that we are actually in an ice age right now. Please educate me. How is that possible? I hear constantly about Antartica breaking off in larger chunks and glaciers getting smaller.

Please take pity on this simple girl from Texas and use plain english for me.

this is a question for all... imagine a new branch of christianity devoid of the supernatural and nonsensical (no god, heaven and hell, virgin birth etc) instead all that is left are the teachings of jesus... love thy neighbour, turn the other cheek, let he who is without sin cast the first stone etc

how many christians or atheists would convert to this new belief system??

I work with a guy who goes to church every time the doors to the church are open and he professes to be a Christian. And yet he says "s**t" and "d**m" practically every day. I realize that God is the only accurate judge of what is in a person's heart, but do you think that he is really a Christian?

Look at the crimes committed - Child and adult prosititution and pornography are for men, alchohol is consumed by more men probably and emboldens many of them to beat their wife and kids, gambling can cause them to lose their jobs, homes, and families, thieves, murderers, druglords, pimps, prostitution rings are primarily run by men. In other words, if men would somehow realize how destructive their behaviour is, and stop wouldn't the world be better? If men could only realize their position as caretakers, protectors, heroes, helpers to their families, we would not have all these problems. What do you think?

Seriously? Why was he so nasty? What a horrible horrible guy he used to be?

If he was all knowing and omnipotent, why did he need to test faith??? Therefore he should have KNOWN that Abraham (am i right there?) would have been prepared to sacrifice his son. Why did God go through the motions and put him through so much agony at the prospect of having to kill his own son? Even though he wa a good man?

And Job, another good man, why did God destroy his life?
