The purpose of life is for us to be tested to prove to God that we will be faithful in all things and endure to the end.
The spirit world is where our spirit will reside after our body dies, and finally before we were born we lived with God the father and Jesus Christ. We were and are Heavenly Fathers children.
I know this is true. I say these thing in His name, amen.

The basis of my beliefs corresponds to how open I am to changing those beliefs. My conversion to Mormonism came out of left field, and if I wasn't open to the evolution of beliefs, I would have shunted it away.

The purpose of life is to give love in as many ways aa possible without harm

The spirit world is real. I've been there many times, especially during prayer and meditation. It's what the scientists call "Noetism". The spirit world is among us; with the seal of discernment upon my heart, I can perceive it clearly. I will be in harmony with the spirit world as long as I preach the Gospel, practice good living, use Zen to seek inward, endure to the end (having an end is really a privilege...if I live with God, it's not endurance, because I become grateful for my trials & challenged because they bring me closer to God)

I come from atoms, was conceived by a loving sexual act between a man and a woman (I hope, having never met my bioparents), was indwelt in the physical frame by my spirit from the spirit world, was birthed like all other human beings, and maintain receptiveness to the bestowal of talents and bliss by Heavenly Father.

My basis is something along the lines of naturalism I guess. Purpose of life- to make the world a better a place in some way or another. Where we come from? Beats me.

The purpose of life? Life, itself.

The spirit world? Uncertain. Can we (sometimes, in some cercumstances) be in contact of those who have died? Yes. Why not. always? I don't know.

Where we come from? Unknowable and not all that important, spiritually - I know that the creation stories of my religion are just that - stories, illustrative but not literal. We are here. The more important question is: being here, what shall I do? How shall I live my life?

(I think there is ample evidence to accept evolution as a working theory. as to how life has changed...as to how it originated, I cannot say I KNOW, although I have an opinion)

nil. THis is hard for most ppl, but their is no "purpose" and life is not inherently special. Just like an electron is different from a proton, life has diff props than a rock.
