Against it. There is never a reason to kill another human being.

I'm all for it, because if there is an extreme
punishment like the Death Penalty for horrible
crimes like Murder,Rape,Paedophilia,Terrorism
Slavery and Savagery these despicable people
who carry out these crimes would seriously
think twice about doing it..If you do the crime
you should except the Maximum punishment.

Plus Jails are becoming over populated and
the offenders once they are released will just
commit another crime perhaps worse then the
original crime that had them lock away.."Once a
Criminal always a Criminal.."

These people ain't moral human beings, would
you let a convicted child, rapist murderer babysit
your children? the answer is "Hell No". Would
you feel comfortable knowing that your next door
neighbour was a convicted Serial Killer let out
because the Lawyers where sneaky enough to
get him released? the answer is "You would most
probably move city/country.."

These people are draining the the money out of
our Government, my hard earned Tax is spent on
feeding the Animals in cages when they should be
dealt the same action as a Feral Pig, and that's a
Bullet between the eyes..

I am against it. I'm not against it because I don't think that there are some crimes that the only suitable penalty is death, but I am against it because I don't trust the system that we use to determine who is guilty and who should get the death penalty.

No, man has the right to condemn another to death. Morally, I think the death penalty wrong. Because God is the judge. Though, those on death roll are no longer considered fit for society.

On a social level they must pay for their crimes against society and not to mention justice is to be served to the loved ones who lost a family, friend, or companion because of them .

A backwards soceity, an immature society , allows criminal s to die quickly and painlessly, meanwhile letting innocent people die slow and painfully.

If this society cares about it s people, they shall allow the innocent s whom are pleading for a peacefull quick death, to have it, and have the criminal s live a long hard life.

People live homeless and dying of constant hunger and embarressment every day. Slowlly dieing painfully.

While criminal s are given free food and shelter , and a quick death.

How much longer must I live among such a terrible world of immature souls.

I have to say I am undecided on this, mostly because of the way our legal system works. In what other country can you commit multiple murders, and be sentenced to jail--only to earn a college degree and perhaps write a book while being provided three meals a day all at the taxpayers expense?

I am for it because the fear of death will keep a man from commiting extreme crimes against humanity...it is proven that with the death penalty people are less likely to kill...yes it will still happen, but less likely.

I am a devout Christian and I am for the death penalty. There are some people who do not belong to be here on this earth. People without a soul.

Against. Not because I personally believe it is wrong to kill, I don't, quite the opposite actually. However, since there is a law that says it is a crime to kill, then how can someone be executed? IF is is wrong to kill then NO ONE should be allowed to kill, and NO ONE should be allowed to have the authority to kill, to be placed above the law and allowed to kill with not only impunity, but permission of the same state that prevents the rest of us from killing. It isn't a deterent to future killers, nor has it been in the past. Either EVERYONE is allowed to kill or NO ONE, not even executioners.

I think in some cases the death penalty is well justified by society. I mean, who in their right mind would think that executing someone like Adolph Hitler was immoral?

I support it. It is punishment for crimes that are worthy.

Christ himself submitted to the Death Penalty and he didn't have to. Do you know why?

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.
