And do you notice they pick and choose verses here and there without finding out the context to try and stump us....We know better and nothing will shake our belief. Keep on sister.

Well, this atheist doesn't believe that.
Pointing out contradictions in the Bible seems silly to me.
Whatever someone trying to do that finds, the believer will find some way to resolve the contradiction.
Are you assuming all atheists are identical to each other?
If so, you're wrong.

Atheists might be hoping that you will find direct evidence of G-d's recent activity in the world around you, and not just things that happened 1,970 years ago and more.
...and oh, yes, there are contradictions in the Bible. My guest pastor said "If you put the Bible under a microscope, you'll find flaws. So don't put the Bible under a microscope."
My most recent previous girlfriend said "The Bible isn't a science book. It isn't really a history book either."

No, but if you are having doubts about atheism you should read and learn about it. Why be ignorant about something you have never studied? There are no contradictions in an atheists book.
If you were a true believer then you would submit to the bible and not voice your opinion to anyone. Women, according to the bible have no rights and must be submissive to society. So by being on here you are a contradiction in your own right.
By the way,... you assume I am atheist, I am not, I am an agnostic. Again, you have judged someone, another contradiction on your part. Maybe you need to repent again.

No. I have no desire to even attempt to deprive you of your beliefs. I feel no moral or intellectual superiority to those who believe. I have no desire to look for contradictions in the Bible.
What I ask is pretty simple:
1. Be consistent. If you're going to proclaim that you subscribe to that belief system, don't judge me for being atheist. I recall something about "judge not" before I stopped believing.
2. Give me the same respect you get from me.
3. Form opinions of me personally, rather than as a member of a class. I represent none but myself. I don't form opinions of all Christians based on how one treats me.

No! No! No! They will never convince us to stop believing! Why? Why? Why? do they care what we believe? We are not hurting them in any way! If a preacher in on the T.V.they can change the channel. No one is forcing them to listen to the word of God! Very few Christians are on the street corners any more because of our wonderful freedom of speech in this free country, they have all been driven away! But atheist can & do walk away! They weren't forced in this site. They have very poor behavioral controls. With their constant need to express superfical remarks about our intelligents! They attempt to coerce us and why? So what is their problem? I know the answer but I dare not tell them because they can't handle the truth!

The fact that inside Christianity itself you can find lots of denominations is a proof that anyone can find 'contradictions' from the Bible.
But of course, those 'contradictions' were based on their interpretations. It depends on how the individual used the Bible verses.
I am not surprised if somebody gives me 'contradicting' verses. and its a challenge for me as Christian to make it straight..'coz the Bible explains for itself.

Apparently some of them feel that way. It's fun to watch them acting like a kid in second grade waving their hand in the air. "Ooh, ooh, look teacher, there's a mistake in the arithmetic book!!"
What they don't realize is that if every copy of the Bible disappeared tomorrow, people's faith in God and Jesus would continue on. In countries where the Bible was banned and religion outlawed, people still worshipped God and passed their faith on to the next generation. Instead of extinguishing religion as they'd hoped, the atheists just made the faith grow even stronger.
So the atheists can say or do whatever they want. If a person's faith is strong, it will survive any test.

The fundamentalists are the ones who always say that if one thing in the Bible is false, then it all falls apart.
And you can't seriously think there are no contradictions in the Bible!

We don't think that. There are a lot of contradictions in the Bible, and people still believe.
If you try to say there's no contradictions in the Bible, then you clearly haven't read it.
Who was the father of Joseph, husband of Mary?
(a) Jacob (Matthew 1:16)
(b) Heli (Luke 3:23)
Jesus descended from which son of David?
(a) Solomon (Matthew 1:6)
(b) Nathan(Luke3:31)
Who was the father of Uzziah?
(a) Joram (Matthew 1:8)
(b) Amaziah (2 Chronicles 26:1)
Who as the father of Jechoniah?
(a) Josiah (Matthew 1:11)
(b) Jeholakim (I Chronicles 3:16)
Was John the Baptist Elijah who was to come?
(a) Yes (Matthew II: 14, 17:10-13)
(b) No(John 1:19-21)
Did John the Baptist recognize Jesus before his baptism?
(a) Yes (Matthew 3:13-14)
(b) No (John 1:32,33)
In Luke 18, in order to get to Heaven, Jesus says to a certain ruler who asked how to get to Heaven, "You know the commandments. Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor thy father and thy mother." -- Then, later, Jesus says, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and his mother, his brothers and sisters, and yes, even his own life, he cannot be my disciple." So which is it...HONOR thy father and mother, or HATE your father and mother?
The list goes on and on and on. It would take me all night to type them all up.
