I'll be happy to.. let me go look.
Edit: okay I'm looking and from the way you've worded your questions, the only way to refute it is to simply say that it belongs to their mythos.
Christians believe that the bible is 100% inerrant (let me rephrase: most christians) and that what's written in there is truth.
The question concerning why Jesus ran from a stoning (which according to scripture he didn't do.. he simply was hidden from their sight) is subject to interpretation by those who believe. Those who don't will simply say it's part of that story.
As for your apparent contradiction.. that's simply a matter of re-wording. When you find something that's truly arguable from a different standpoint, I'll happily chime in.

Oh, YOU were the inspiration for the question I just answered: Atheists, do you believe that IF you prove a contradiction in the Bible, we won't believe?
Well, why should I help you out?
What you're trying to do is futile and silly.
What, I wonder, is your purpose?
If you think you're going to un-convert a believer, you need to get a grip. It's highly unlikely.
Someone isn't going to abandon their faith over what they see in R&S on YA.
And your method is questionable and ineffective.
Whatever contradiction you find, they can find some way to resolve.
But why try?
Let them have their imaginary friend.
Where our energy is needed is in 1) clarifying to those willing to listen what it is that we (godless folk) think -- as opposed to the myths about us,
2) defending the Constitution, which says they don't have the right to force us into their relationship with their imaginary friend.
Trying to convince them is futile, and using their "magic" book counter-productive.
I nearly cited your "question" BTW, as this is NOT a chat site, but then, I was curious, and now, well, I couldn't resist responding.
Don't waste your breath trying to change them.
If you used to be a believer and now have some sort of hang up or compulsion to "save" them or humiliate them, seek help.

I'm sorry to hear that Christians are attacking you in response to questions you have posted. This should not be happening, instead what Christians should be doing is responding to questions posted by yourself in a loving manner not a condemning one.
Though I have not read any of your questions before I will assume that the questions which you have posted did not attack Christianity or God. With this assumption I apologize for any mean spirited comments made by those claiming to be be Christians.
Just so you know, I must respect you for your faith in there being no God. It takes a lot of guts to believe that your all alone in this world and that everything depends on you. I will pray that you are one day able to find God and accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, God Bless.

You're being "attacked" by Christians? Lady, it's a good thing that I didn't have a mouthful of diet Pepsi when I read that, or I'd be out buying a new monitor and keyboard.
You've done nothing this evening but post questions that range from ridiculous to rude. You've attacked the Bible, Jesus, and anything that has to do with Christianity. And in typical atheist fashion, you start whining about how dem big bad Cwistians is pickin' on poor widdle you the minute that we defend ourselves and the Savior that we love.
If you can't handle a little heat in the form of refutation of your arguments, then stay out of the theological kitchen.

If you do not believe something, why waste all your time trying to disprove it.
If it is not so, why working about it.
You remind me of a story I once heard:
It is said that just before his de#ath, the legendary actor, W. C. Fields was visited by a friend in the hospital. The friend was shocked to see W. C. Fields thumbing through a Bible. The friend asked why he was doing this, and W. C. Fields replied, “I’m looking for loopholes.”

I looked Dana and I added a comment to your last question. But I can tell you, you cannot reason with them. The Bible makes no sense. You can point out all the contradictions, math errors, and outright lunacy of it till the cows come home. All they will do is parrot to you what they have been told about it. It's kind of hopeless. Come here and have fun with us, but it is best not to have any expectations when it comes the religious. Take best of care!

I'll take a look.
I support you in challenging biblical text and blind faith.
Ok. Whenever people start quoting scripture, I go away... yes there are lots of contradictions and it's good to see them, but it's a little old for me.
Perhaps if you focused more on your thoughts about the scriptures and thology, rather than focus on the text? That would certainly draw me more into looking at the question.
Just my opinion.

You know, I have answered several of your "questions" and, strangely enough, I have not been able to find the attacks that you are being subjected to. . . Are they really attacks? Or just logical rebuttals to your insults that are not-so-cleverly disguised as questions?
Hmmmmmm . . . .

The more Christians blame Satan for things, the more credit they give him. You really have a problem with the Christian faith and are very vocal about it. I wonder why they bother you so much. Is it that you are bothered by people who are unanalytical and followers, or are you bothered by belief in any spirituality? I don't agree with most Christian beliefs, but I'm not anti-Christian. They can be stupid, I won't oppose their right to dogmatic doctrinated blind conformity.
