Above all power, above all thrones, above all kingdoms the world has ever known, above of ____ and all the ways of man, you were here before the world began. Crucified, lay behind stone, you lived to die, rejected and alone like a rose trampled on the ground you took the fall and thought of me above all. I keep humming this.

Is he dreaming about everything? Because in the epilogue, it states that 'Langdon awoke with a start. He had been dreaming'. Is the Da Vinci code just a dream in the book? I know all the information is accurate, though.

Did the virgin Mary stay a virgin after the birth of Jesus? Do you think that he was an only child? Why isnt more told about his family in the bible? I've done research, and he had 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. This is only one of a few verses that mentions his family Mark 6:3-4 most other accounts of his family were destroyed or omitted after the 2ed century, and after the council of Niccea, because they threatened his divinity. Opinions?

I have been on the R&S section for a while and I have started to see an uprise in people saying that there is no such thing as an atheist. I have to ask how did this come about? How can something that just means (for lack of a better term) lack of religion be fake?

I ask this question becuase I have seen alot of christians try to "prove" this. The most recent one while it also might be the best example of the logic behind it is this

"So called Atheists,will you take this challenge?"
"First you have to confess there is a God,then prove that you don't believe in him.That way you can prove my point that there is no such thing as an Atheist.May Jesus bless."

And I do love how it is not his point it was someone before him that tried to make the point but failed just like him.

So I will ask again how did this question come about. It makes no sense...

If you read the book, you'll see how violent and irrational religions are a direct result of their primary texts and stories. (That means the Bible too.)

What were your experiences? Was it good or bad? I'm Christian, I believe in God and Jesus, but I also meditate and believe in reincarnation and enlightenment.. sort of like Buddhism. But I don't really believe in a hell, just a mental one, you know? Anyway, what I believe is that there's another plane of realm.. like a spirit realm. But what I don't get is all the "evil" things like the Ouija board. What was your experience? I understand there are good and evil things in everything...

I am a Christian, and I heard a preacher on tv say that the war in Iraq is biblically based. He explained that this is World War III, and that shortly after the war ends Jesus will return to get the church. I just wondered how any Chrisitans and non-christians feel about this subject.

There are many rooms in the kingdom of heaven and each a seperate activity. If in the adalecent phase you are uncontrolling of these emotions you may put them in the wrong room but when you correct them many will strip you of that purity and leave you naked in stumbling sexual immoralities of others.

A new hair cut, new job, a new ax to grind, new house or
as Patti Labelle would sing "I got a new attitude?"

*This is interesting!*
Have you put on the "New Man?"

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Neither give place to the devil...
Ephesians Chapter 4 verse 22
