Angel, I and a couple of friends of mine do it about once a month for the shelter here. Usually for about 40 people or so. It's been a few weeks so we are due again soon.

I've prepared and served meals at church, which is open to anyone.

As for homeless, haven't cooked, but I did buy someone's lunch yesterday. Guy asked for 50 cents so he could get something from wendy's; I gave him $5 and said get some lunch. I usually don't give cash to people, tho, I give out $10 gift cards for the grocery store. It's part of my giving budget.

I think more Christians should do things to help the poor.

I've never personally served a meal but I do give money to the local Rescue Mission in town.

why are you picking on Christians? Why not ask people of other faiths as well
