Jesus is Lord - Excerpt from "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis (1898-1963)
Jesus is Lord, yet mankind insists on calling Him everything else…

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. jesus, if he actually existed, was just a man who preached a certain type of apocalyptic fare that was rampant in his day but was different than the usual stuff. his was an inclusive doctrine and for that he may have been crucified as a threat to roman power. but given the absence of evidence that he actually existed at all, i will chalk him up to legend and myth...sort of like paul bunyan or santa claus.

He is the most important man to have ever graced this planet with his presence, and the one who delivered me from the power or Satan, and will deliver me to my Father in Heaven.
I hope that is who he is to every person on on this site right now.
Who is He to you?
