I've been told that we believe almost the same things, only you don't believe that Jesus is the messiah, but just a prophet...the al quran is like the old testament of our bible...i know that you guys are good, peaceful people (i saw some of mohammed's life), so i don't understand this controversy of what the terrorism has to do with Islam...anyways, we aren't told you guys are bad people or anything like that, so i hope you don't think that way.

Why would any Christian church tell their congregation anything in particular about Islam? It isn't really a Christian concern.
I don't trust the media, for obvious reasons.
Most of what I've discovered about Islam has been on the internet, both from Muslims I've spoken with, and from websites, both for and against.
And what I've discovered gives me chills....
I'm totally outraged at the way Islam has decieved and abused America's disaffected black youth. They need to know the real truth about what true Arabian Muslims really think about Negroes...they would be shocked. If they thought the KKK in Alabama was bad, wait till they meet the sons of the "prophet"!!

That all people are equal regardless of race and religion. That we should help anyone who asks. Islam is not really mentioned in our church and if there are people who look down on islam people it is because of the recent events and not what they teach us.

I've learned that we are like the islam in many ways and that islam is a peaceful religion.

We know quite a bit more then you think. I am in a group that studies the beliefs of other religions. We don't have problems with your people, just what you believe. What are you being told about Christians?

Not much, really, to be honest, except perhaps a couple of points we might have in common that will help in getting a conversation started. For instance, that Muslims believe in Jesus, same as we do, except you believe him to be a great prophet but not God's son.

We really don't discuss Islam in our church. But then we don't really discuss Buddism, Hinduism, Mormonism, Catholicism, Methodism, or any of those either. We tend to talk more about God and Christ and what we are to do to live our lives in service to Him.

Yes, we're told how being politically correct isn't following God's doctrine. We are told to pray for ALL those who are lost.

I'm sure Muslims are told the same thing.

The Church that I attend focuses on Jesus and worship of Him. We do not discuss other religions, it is our time to be with our God. What do Mosques teach about Christians?

Muhammad was a false prophet and unfortunately he has created this religion of Islam. Sorry, but i find it to be false. Although as I've said before i have no issues with Muslim people just what they believe.
