WARNING: Saying that God CANNOT do something invalidates and debunks automatically the OMNIPOTENCE ("can-do-all") of God.

I am really confused by some religious thoughts. I don't understand how all sins can be forgiven for example why are murderers, rapists and child molesters forgiven by God. But, if you are not a believer in God then you go to hell. This just makes no sense to me at all, if there was a heaven then I would think that those who didn't believe would win over persons who killed and harmed others---Please explain. I am an athiest and I am just curious.

And if so, can you show me where the Bible SPECIFICALLY explains this?

Can it be proven?

I'm doing a report, and I need a verse that talks about how we should enjoy nature or creation. (if there is such a verse)

Only better, because you don't actually have to show people the carrot, or the stick?

Is it all just some primitive tool to keep the unwashed masses in line?

And that the Universe implies a creator....

By the same logic, What or Who created God?

I start talking and writing about some subject that I want others
to hear about and some people do not want to hear
the truth about it and people are scared and frightened by the truth

I mean I want to be truthful and honest and you cannot speak
truth without some person deleting what you say
And most people will accept a lie over truth

The curse of cain is described as the mark of God. but the mark of the beast was initiated in the secret combinations of Cain and has existed throughout all history and has existed in all itsforms ever since.

Based on answers to my previous question, we know that their is a creator and a starting point.
"There has to be. look around"
Where is God from? What was he doing before he created the Universe? When was he created and who created him?

Please try to answer my question seriously. No sarcasm.

There is a lot of mormon doctrine and a lot of confusion on the mark in the forehead that Cain received.
but seeing that christians believe in the false doctrineof the trinity, how can they believe the truth if it is shown to them in sound doctrine?
i found a website that rebukes Pres Hinkley as a liar for denying the doctrine of the curse of Cain even though Pres Young himself declares that cain was cursed with black skin and a flat nose? Did pres hinckly speek out of error, or did Pres brigham young speak his opinion and it was NOT the words of God. ?

Of course, I'm talking Latin.
But most of you christians will think the KJV is infallible, so wouldn't have actually LOOKED into some of the glaringly obvious errors in it.

when there are murderers, rapists, child molesters and such who are christians, and i'm sure some still fight these feelings even though they have turned to christ. so why can't a gay person also believe in christ?

There is a prophetic statements in Sahih Muslim about prophet Muhammad who sent his companions to invade a neighbour village. The companions invaded the village and captured many women. The statement tells that the companions did not have SEX with those captive women because they were married, but prophet Muhammed gave them the permission to HAVE SEX with those women (even if they were already married).

The statements continues and tells that god PRAISED what prophet Muhammad and those companions did and revealed a Quranic verse for prophet Muhammed that says:

"You can not have sex with married women unless they are your property (slaves)" [Al Nisa'a 4:24]

http://quran.al-islam.com/Tafseer/DispTafsser.asp?nType=1&bm=&nSeg=0&l=arb&nSora=4&nAya=24&taf=KATHEER&tashkeel=0

Was there a specific reason for prophet Muhammad to allow his companions to have sex (or rape) their war captives?

I read an article where a priest(from the UK i think) was saying that having children is FUNDAMENTAL to marriage."..

It amazes me how much the religious leaders still think they can tell what we must do and feel!!!

.so wot do u think?

I am not planning on having any kids, so does tht make me immoral? or am going straight to hell coz i DECIDED to not have kids?

No one could be punished without a fair trial. It is a basic human right

If you had (or have) children, would you want them to believe as you do (as far as God and spirituality goes)? How would you influence your child's beliefs? What would you do if your child chose not to believe as you do?

And, would you be more proud of your child if he believes as you do (without question) or if he chose not to (based on experience or his own studies)?

If it isn't too much trouble--- please say whether you are Christian, atheist, etc.

Burning people to death is an outdated punishment. It was practised in medieviel Europe. No modern country in the world has such types of punishements. If any country does it all Human right organisations will be protesting against it. Shouldn't God too keep up with times? Shouldn't he start killing people by hangsrope, electric chair or lethel injection

What do moderate Christians now think about the new threatening language used by Christians to non christians -most recently the new and improved rapture stuff?

Do they think it is a hard sell and attention seeking - and it shows that christianity is getting desperate and using the fire and brimstone stuff more- and do they worry about the effect it might have on young children and the vulnerable - who are exposed to this new "fear revival" that kind of petered out a bit - but now is back with bells on?
