- i feel so full of the spirit, so i must be right, or whom base everything on the way they feel. and open there mouth without hesitation because they "feel" they are being lead by god to speak these words. no offence meant because in my early christian days i was a lunitic, and did some outragous things thinking i was led by god. now iam more cautious about things. and have learnt not to trust my senses completely. i have seen it do more harm by bringing down gods name than to have people see him as the right sensible choice, because we as gods people act like complete idiots in front of the whole world. because we reject wisdom (when god wants us to be wise) and sometimes so self absorbed we actually dont think how our actions affect others.-please there must be someone out there that sees this problem and not just me. otherwise maybe iam wrong and have to become a lunitic like the rest of them (and like i once were) to be saved?

I still do not understand why the NT is so popular. I find the character Jesus uninteresting and servely overrated. I am soory he has nothing on Moses. Moses could take on Jesus any day of the week. I don't know the NT is boring nothing exicting really happens. I think the authors of the NT killed off Jesus because they couldnt come up with any new material. I think the authors of the OT wrap up Moses story arch very nicely. I felt a deep connection to Moses while I read the OT. But I felt nothing for Jesus. I find Jesus death to e very anti-climaxtic. It seem very rushed and pointless. If he was so powerful why die he have to die to wash our sins away. If he was that powerful as christians claim shouldn't he have be able to just snap his fingers and make our sins go away. The NT just doesn't make any sense it suffers from very poor writting. I just can't get into it!

Be honest, in time of need do you turn to this website for instant answers more often than turning to God with a prayer then waiting patiently for His answer?

I'm loyal, but only to a certain point! I'm just relaxing, listening to some Carly Simon and thinking about getting a manicure.

I've always hoped I would be surrounded by two Jim Darwins, but three is just silly!

Although I'm glad there aren't as many icky girls here today, I only have so much love to give! Help!

Side note: I'm 100% straight, so don't get the wrong idea.

I always felt that programs in church (Christian) that promise to "cure" Christianity puts too much pressure and is unfair; It is as though other sins are less serious than homosexuality.

Secondly, I personally believe that if one wants to turns away from homosexuality, a long and ardous recovery is required.

many historians debate on the truth behind the bible (roman c).and also many things unerathen that adds, redirect, or divert some issues behind the written content of the holy book?.. there aree some cases where some claims about an issue far more different of what does the bible says e.g the issue of jesus birthday.. the issue of holy trinity.. .. ?. dont you think about that?..

christians even though you truly believe in God but if you do not believe exactly in their complete form then you are nothing. So whats the point? Even us spiritual people are treated as evil.

I used to be a catholic myself before I got saved. I ask this of you without malice or ill will in my heart...that I can promise:

Can you honestly say that the system of things that go on in a catholic service are not somewhat wrong according to scripture?
What makes one think that a system of works will save them?
The bible is clear that we are saved by grace through faith and not of works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Are you not also going entirely against God's Word when you kneel in front of a statue of a saint and pray?
Or are you not going against God's Word when you use a priest as a mediator when scripture is clear that there is only one mediator between God & man...the Man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5)?

There is much more I could say but....there's that 1000 character limit thing......Can you understand why us Christians view your system of things as dead wrong sometimes?

My husband's aunt is a Jehovah's Witness. She refuses to come to family get-togethers, birthdays, etc. She says they don't believe in giving gifts and such, but she also says it is against her religion to have her picture taken. Can anyone tell me how true that is? And if it is, what is the reason behind it? Thanks!

when you die, get along with others, and accept the fact that there is nothing wrong with a person worshiping God in the manner they choose whether being religious, spiritual, or even neither but just living. What is the point of living if you have to live everyday worrying about death and why not allow you imagination to roam free without fear of being prosecuted by your religion. Why not just be you.
