I still do not understand why the NT is so popular. I find the character Jesus uninteresting and servely overrated. I am soory he has nothing on Moses. Moses could take on Jesus any day of the week. I don't know the NT is boring nothing exicting really happens. I think the authors of the NT killed off Jesus because they couldnt come up with any new material. I think the authors of the OT wrap up Moses story arch very nicely. I felt a deep connection to Moses while I read the OT. But I felt nothing for Jesus. I find Jesus death to e very anti-climaxtic. It seem very rushed and pointless. If he was so powerful why die he have to die to wash our sins away. If he was that powerful as christians claim shouldn't he have be able to just snap his fingers and make our sins go away. The NT just doesn't make any sense it suffers from very poor writting. I just can't get into it!

HEAR THE BIBLE:

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The natural man; the man who is after the flesh and minds the things of the flesh, Ro 8:5; the man who is unenlightened by the Holy Spirit, who does not love the truth, and is the willing slave of sin....receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; does not rightly apprehend or appreciate them. They are foolishness; they appear foolish.....neither can he know them; he needs to be renewed and enlightened by the Holy Spirit. As without spiritual discernment no man will rightly apprehend or suitably treat the things which God has revealed, and as the author of this discernment is the Holy Spirit, all should seek his teaching; and not only attend to the words in which he communicates divine truth, but ask him to show them his meaning, cause it to make the right impression, and be the means of spiritual life to their souls.

God, who would have to possess incredible intelligence would certainly have come up with a better plan that that one. Think about it. Instead of turning people into a can of Morton Salt or having my superstrong hitmen like Samson take people out, why don't I just forgive everyone, impregnate a virgin who would produce a son who would preach my word then die a horrible death and torture to clean the whole slate.

Nice joke question, idiot. See, the thing is, the Bible isn't supposed to be a compelling work of fiction, a false impression you apparently have. It is a factual account of what happened. If you don't like it, cool, Jesus loves you, enjoy hell.

Well, there is no god approved genocide, murder or mass annihilation of the planet like in the OT, so I guess it is boring
