Im not sure where I stand, spiritually speaking but I am doing my best to try and find out.
What I have noticed in my research is how selective people are of the rules they choose to follow. I spoke to my priest last month and he was telling me the reasons why Catholics are opposed to homosexuality. It's closely linked to the rules on abortion, that every beginning of a life deserves an equal chance. So with gay men the sperm is wasted. But most "Catholics" I know don't frown upon masturbation. But surely that's as big a crime? And why do they care when women are lesbians?
Then there are people who claim to follow the Bible implicitly but pick and choose which parts they find most attractive. In the old testament Leviticus says: we can sell our daughters into slavery for a fair price; that men may not contact a woman while she is menstruating; that if you have a defect in your sight you may not approach the alter of God.. etc. There are more but the point is these are largely ignored.

If you do, how do you pray? What miraculous or ordinary answers to prayer did you get? Did you receive some 'no' answers? How did you deal with them? Did you get a 'yes' but years later? Share with us, please?

it go on to list the tribes of Isreal. Didn't he cast them off as his people? romans 2:29
Then in REvelation 14: Says they are all virgins. So only those who haven't had Sex like Jesus go to heaven?
I know about a great crowd on the earth and I am convinced that most people will live on a paradise earth. But those who go to heaven seem unclear to me. Any JW"s out there able to explain that?

There is a verse in the Quran that says:

"If you decide to replace one wife with another, even if ye had given the earlier one a whole treasure for dower, take not the least bit of it back" [4 : 20]

Does this mean it is that easy for a Muslim to divorce his wife and replace her with a new one as long as he pays the dower and not taking it back?

(P.S. The word "replace" reminds me of the exchange policy in the stores)

Hey, I'm having a lot of difficulty. I was always led to believe that if you were baptised and lived your life by the Bible, then you pretty much had assurence that you were going to Heaven. But, I've been hearing that's not true. I hear that it's all up to God what happens and that we can't influence his decision. If we live our lives by his guidelines then haven't I done what I need to do? Say if you live your whole life by the word, then trip at the finishline, sin and die without repentance, are we condemned? Likeiwse, does a sinner who repents in his last minute get in? What about a righteous person who can't handle anymore and kills themself? Are all of their past deeds and their union with Jesus overlooked? If it's all up to God, no guarentees, then what's the point?

(I'm looking for actions not meaningless phrases like, "Betray my relationship with Jesus." That doesn't mean anything to anyone but you. If you mean, "I wouldn't say I didn't believe in Jesus," that's okay, because I know what that means, but "betray my relationship," or other catch phrases aren't clear enough to know what you are trying to say.)

LMAO!!!!

I kid you not, I saw this answer to a recent question.

"No one "realizes" they are gay. The whole concept of "gay" or "lesbian" is the work of Satan through his demons. We, as humans, are easily led astray by the master deceiver (Satan). If we do not have a solid base and belief in Jesus Christ it is easy for Satan to enter our minds and "convince" us we are something other than what we truly are - created to worship and love God. I do not judge these individuals who struggle against Satan in their lives, I pray for their deliverance and salvation through Jesus Christ."

The extent of ignorance is unbelievable!!!!!!!

I can see maybe 99% percent sure, but not 100%. 100% signifies you have undisputable fact and truth you are correct. NEITHER OF YOU DO ! So for the sake of argument cant you just say your not sure 100% and lets move on.
