All the others attach myths to the man, such as they have him healing people, working miracles and raising from the dead. The music in J.C. Superstar is also emotionally moving & great. The movie makes me really appreciate Jesus the man. As for Jesus the god, that's the stuff of myths.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corithians 11:13-15 that satan and his servants can appear as "apostles of Christ" and ministers of righteousness. Remember, the evil spirit that the witch of Endor z"brought" up appeared as the prophet Samuel (1 Samuel 28).

We also know that satans desire was to be "like the Most High" (Isaiah 14:9-17).

In John 8:44 Jesus says to the religious leaders, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

I have seen this over and over...people who seem to have it all..CONTINUE to get more,while other's struggle all their lives just to make it day to day.Also from my own experience..alot of the people who have it all are not always the nicest people! Do you think it has to do with being born into money or something else?Would love to hear your opinions..thanks

I don't understand why some of you claim that there is no such thing as evolution. If you believe that God can do anything, then why can't you apply that to your religious beliefs? I don't understand why it is so reprehensible. (I'm a Buddhist)

I find my self thinking that I want the world to end. It's the end of suffering, the end of life and death, pain. Even the good things in life wouldn't be missed because we'd all be dead.

Does one need to have some sort of college degree? Or is a simple seminary and certificate all that's needed? The reason why I ask this is because I was talking to somebody who is a Catholic the other day. Anyway this person told me that the differences in terms of Catholic ministers and priests and a Protestant minister or whatnot is that the Catholic leaders need to have a college degree and all a Protestant leader needs is some kind of certificate. Is this true? If so then who would be considered to be better educated in terms of scriptural references?

then how was it created ....of course there must be an engine for it

I know there are a million and one questions about "books about Paganism"- but does anybody know offhand of any good books that are "old"? I'm not exactly sure what I even mean by old, just... I guess it would be cool to read something that wasn't written before the boom in the 50s, and again in the 80s and 90s, you know? I'm looking for respected literature that's a little more timeless. They can't all be the original church, because they have different names and different beliefs about how to interpret the NT. I've heard many different answers from members of many different Christian sects: everyone thinks their church was THE ONE established by Jesus and his followers.
