I believe that we all need to remember to not call each other names and not to let non-believers get under your skin. We are called for a higher purpose and to Love One Another. That means loving someone despite our differences and faiths. I just have been watching and answering these boards for a while and wanted everyone to just think about why we believe what we believe and what Jesus would do if he were on these boards.

If a church starts instructing their members who to vote for or what issues are important to them, should they have to pay taxes. If a not-for-profit does this, then they lose their tax exempt status, so shouldn't churches be held to the same statute? If not, why? Imagine how much more money could go to health care, education, etc if we taxed some of those organizations.

Values are changing! Life is getting faster! Relationships are deteriorating! Community awareness on vital issues is sinking! Violence and extortions are the orders of the day – religions not excluded! Terrorism on extraneous reasons takes away valuable innocent lives, built up on parental sacrifices! In these chaotic conditions, how can we build up and sustain a home of harmony and discipline, based on family ties, personal bond, love and understanding? With the public relations infrastructure I enjoy, your replies, I propose to pass on to the future generation. lilieeann33@yahoo.co.in

I know that there is a reason and a purpose for everything … but some days it just doesn’t make any sense.

Do you have those days were the existence of God just seems so unreal?

DID U WATCH IT???
WHAT DO U THINK???
HAS IT CHANGED YOUR FAITH IN ANY WAY???
ABOUT ME:
I AM MUSLIM. THE MUSLIM BELEIF ABOUT JESUS IS:
SURA 4
157. That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

158. Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-

THE DOCUMENTARY DID NOT AFFECT MY BELEIF BECAUSE I DONT BELEIVE HE IS DEAD BUT I DO BELEIVE THAT HE MIGHT OF HAD A SON AN I DONT THINK THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT.
BUT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS

Funny that the Bible discussed even this :
How about -
"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself." [Prov 26:4]

"Answer of fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes." [Prov 26:5]

Maybe we should ignore them and they will go elsewhere. Although someone filled with complete, chosen emptiness has nowhere else to go but criticise those they are so jealous of. It's funny, although it's also pretty sad. It's like an Amish man spending all of his time asking ridiculous questions in the Electricity and Modern Technology section of Yahoo Answers. - for example, "If a lightbulb is so great, how come it burns out, why doesn't it last forever ?"
What do you think ?

I watched the "Tomb of Jesus" documentary on the Discovery channel and really don't understand what Jesus was doing all his years.

When I was done watching the program it was apparent Jesus had roughly 4 kids and one with Mary Margolis (which was supposed to be his mother). I guess that proves Jesus & Mary Margolis were the first humans, thus, kicking Adam & Eve out of that role.

I also noticed Jesus took the captains' wheel on Noah's Ark as well so I wonder what that Noah guy's role really was - perhaps 1st mate?

Most importantly he cured the leopards by removing their spots.

It is truly amazing they can determine all this from DNA.

I want 2 tattoos. One on each of the back of my arms. Right above my elbow. But not wrapping around my arm.

I want something religious(not crosses) with something written in latin on each arm.

Something you have seen in a church in stained glass windows maybe?

Why does it seem necessary for some man (it's always a man) to make a claim that he saw a vision, in order for him to make his religion stronger?

MOST religions hang entirely on the presupposition that the person instumental in "directing" or "creating" that religion had the experience/vision they claimed they had!!!

Only some poor soul who desperately NEEDED or wanted to believe what the "visionary" claimed, would take such a thing seriously!

1. The vision of Paul on the road to Damascus(Christianity)
2. The LSD visions of St. John on Patmos (Christianity)
3. The schizophrenic visions of Mohammad (Islam)
4. The schizophrenic visions of Joseph Smith (Mormons)
5. The delusional vision of Moses (BurningBush) (Judaism)
6. The stress-induced, fantastic visions of Buddha (Buddha)
7. The many visions of the Virgin Mary (Catholicism)
8. The megalomaniacal visions of Jesse DuPlantis (Charismatic)
9. The desperate vision of Mary of the angel Gabriel (Christian)
