The Bible tells us in 2 Corithians 11:13-15 that satan and his servants can appear as "apostles of Christ" and ministers of righteousness. Remember, the evil spirit that the witch of Endor z"brought" up appeared as the prophet Samuel (1 Samuel 28).

We also know that satans desire was to be "like the Most High" (Isaiah 14:9-17).

In John 8:44 Jesus says to the religious leaders, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

Your scripture references do not point to anything specific as far as your question is concerned. Where do you get your information from? What is this about the end of the church age in 1988 and who said the Lord abandoned all churches and allowed Satan to rule? Facts before fiction please.

The Church age ends with the return of Christ. He has not come back yet. Satan has inroads in some Churches, but he doesn't rule it. The Church is still the Bride of Christ.
