Even if they read his biography they are so brainwashed by religious leaders who strive for us to distance ourselves from God. They have turned him into a three headed monster, taken his name out of the bible, made him this mysterious entity, and when a child dies they casually state that it was "God's will". God's will was for us to live on a paradise on earth, immortal.
Arg, now I have gone and got my panties in a bunch....

Most only get the picking and choosing they get from they brainwashers. A thorough study of the Bible is the best missionary for atheism.
