It depends on what philosophy you subscribe to, basically, I believe that we are all responsible for ourselves. It would probably be easier to blame things on God, but realistically, it's not logical.

The idea that we can do nothing aside of God’s will is a theological idiom of Calvinism, and is not Scriptural. The fact is that God gave us freedom to choose. Man of his own free will chose to eat of the forbidden fruit. Sin and death are obviously not God’s will. I Peter 3:9 tells us that it is God’s will that everyone be saved, but as we see in Revelation 20:15, not everyone will be. We are therefore responsible for our own sins.

However, Jesus paid our price for us, and all we need to do is except his free gift. This is a necessity because we ourselves are bankrupted in this area. There is nothing that we can do to redeem ourselves. By sinning only one time, we have rejected life, and it is only Jesus who can buy that back for us. We are then at that point no longer responsible for our sins.

This is not to say that we are free to sin all we want. Rom 6:1 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” In fact, we are given a new nature that detests sin, yet we still by our own free will choose weather we fallow the new nature or the old one. For our sins there will be consequences, but everlasting damnation is no longer one of them.
