tebone says God IS light. ROFL! When you turn on the lamp, does God start coming out. Is the lampshade blocking God? Is God weaker than a lampshade?

"Specifically" well the Bible doesn't directly say that its wrong to cut off a man's limb (or other part) and put it through a meat grinder ... but i'ts a no-no.
Now scientists (mix of all religions) have the "Theory of Inflation" which blows Einsteins E=MC(squared) outta the water. Providing the "Big-Bang" is infact the begging occurence (scientists haven't definitivly confirmed this) ... well, when the Big Bang went off there were no stars, no planets, no space, no time and no matter. At some point in the process these condensed like mist on a mirror. After some time had passed since the first ka-blooie the space in which the process was happening is thought to have expanded very rapidly for a quite short period. This idea of very rapid expansion is called a theory of "inflation". There are a few different theories of inflation. The reason there are a few different theories of inflation is that there is not yet enough known or otherwise understood about the whole process to eliminate some of them.
If the period of inflation was very short, the expansion would have to have been faster than the speed of light. If it was a bit slower, it would not have had to do so. In either case it seems that inflation lasted less than a second.
It was not for some time after the absolute start that atoms began to form, before that it was too hot. Nearly all the atoms were hydrogen with a little helium and quite a while afterwards, like millions of years, they began to contract together by gravity to form the first stars. Many of these stars were very big and only lasted a short while, like several million years. (The bigger a star is, the shorter time it exists). The ferocious nuclear reactions inside the stars cooked the hydrogen atoms together to form heavier elements like carbon, and when these huge stars blew up, they also produced all the very heavy elements up to uranium.
This sort of thing went on for several generations of stars until things in the Universe had cooled down and got a bit quieter. By the time our Sun started to form the Universe was already about 10 thousand million years old. It was not for some time after the start of the formation of our Sun that Earth formed, and that seems to have been close to 4,500 million years ago. So our Sun and Earth are about a third the age of the Universe and had plenty of time to "get" here.
Look up the "first three minutes" and "theory of inflation".

Yes and so can the angels. Read 1 Corinthians 16:51,52 We will be changed bodily so our body is like the body of Christ in a twinkling of the eye. That's a quick change.
Matthew 24:27 "For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Here we have Jesus faster than lightning.
Job Chapter 37 is a good chapter for you to read.
2 Cor. 4;6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shines in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 6:16
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see; to whom be honor and power everlastings. Amen" God is a pretty powerful light the Bible tells us here.
Revelation 22:5
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever." This is in the new Jerusalem coming down from God to the earth when God makes all things new in heaven and on the earth.
Without doors being opened Jesus just appeared in a room to show doubting Thomas His hands, feet and side.
Where do you think "Star Wars" and "Beam Me Up Scotty" came from. It came from the Holy Bible.
God says in the Bible "Call upon Him and He will show you great and mighty things." One morning about 3:00 a.m. I heard this voice, "Get up and see the wonders of God." I got up, went outside and at the top of the street was an enormous glowing light - like a moon but brighter with more jagged edges - just a great light. It went down behind the hill and I've never seen it since. I had reminded God in my prayers of His verse that He would show me great and mighty things. I've been outside by myself and a wind will come up and touch me and I know the Lord is giving me comfort with this wind.
It is hard to stay on track when talking about the Lord because He has done so much. I can't prove anything, but I know that I know that I know that I know. Every fiber in me knows that He is my Creator and my Lord. I trust Him with everything in me.

Can anything religious be proven?
Isn't requesting proof undermining the concept of faith, therefore the core of spirituality?
The answer of course is yes, God being the creator of all existence is not bound by numbers that humans have created, ie. faster than light travel

God doesn't travel because He is already present everywhere.

God has no need to travel. He is everywhere at once. He exists outside of time and space as we know it therefore velocity makes no sense.
Proof?
Sorry, God isn't participating in experiments today.

God created light, so God > Light.
No, the Bible would not specifically discuss this, as they had no idea that light had a speed when it was written.

I reckon if I can think "speed of light plus one" it can be done. The universe is infinite.
