and how?

Just because prayers aren't "answered" doesn't prove it, what if God is just saying no and you just don't like it, or understand why.

Also you can't judge God because of some of his followers and events caused by them. People are fallible and have "free-will". Which includes some of the leaders and also writters and editers of the scripture/Bible/etc...

Sorrow, science (not theory which is different), and hardships don't disprove it either, at least not to me.

I personally have seen to much to not believe.
That doesn't mean I have always believed, but now, I couldn't believe more.

How do YOU disprove "God"?

and please, honest respect-full answers,

I recently became involved with a Jewish man. I adore him and the relationship is great so far. Though we only began dating, I can't help but wonder if he has to marry a Jewish woman and I wonder also if that would be intimidating or offensive to ask? I am Christian and open to other religions. Is this something I should know upfront before anything goes further or should I just roll with the punches. Thanks.

You must have the spirit of God to understand faith.

"For the things of God are foolishness unto men."
Just as the wisdom of men is foolishness to God.

God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

We need faith and His help to form a frame of reference

HOW CAN THE FINITE COMPREHEND INFINITY---WITHOUT SOMETHING TO AID IN A FRAME OF REFERENCE??????????? THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVERTS GNOSIS TO EPIGNOSES Academic knowledge to full knowledge. Does this make sense to you?????????

If your work requires intense concentration and your full attention (and if you're going to do a job well, you should give it your full attention, and you owe that to those for whom you are working) - then how can you bring God into it? How can you find God in these circumstances? It seems like to find God, you need to abandon your mundane activities, but I somehow do not feel this is what God wants.

You have been gifted this world to come by the grace of god. There are many good things to do for mankind and humanity which we should try our best to perform at least one good task daily.

It sounds like God only wants healthy and whole (but circumsised) male genitalia, so wouldn't a vasectomy exclude you from his posse?

There are times, at least it happens with me, that I feel what am I doing with my life? Is this why I am here ? I am not here in this world just for trifle things.

Why can't each human be given the chance to eat of the fruit? Why should the knowledge of evil be passed on to us even though we didn't committ the crime. God is unfair in this manner. Prove me wrong.

If u havent heard of the group check out the blog and do leave ur comments. God bless you all and have a nice day!

First off, I'm Catholic.
Now we all know that the Bible was written by men, how many Catholic traditions were created by the Vatican- such as confession- and Christians believe that the Cross should be shown w/o Jesus, whereas Catholics depict the Cross w/ Jesus, and also how there are many, MANY different types of Christians, but my question is Why the division?

why do Christians think Catholics are damned or vice versa? I have a hard time believing that on judgment day God will say to Catholics "well I know you love and believe in me...but you show me on the Cross" or "well I know you love and believe in me...but you also pray to the Holy Mary" so all Catholics are going to Hell and all other Christians are not (or vice versa).
In addition, there are soooo many different types of Christians. As for me, as long as you believe that Jesus is the Son of God you're money (you know what i mean!). I'll marry a girl who believes this whether she call herself Christian or Catholic!

The belief that we have that humans come and go as it says, "Punarapi jananam, punarapi maram", why don't it applies to all living creatures? If it applies, what a hard work God has, to take their account, to keep them in His kingdom of 10 planet-sized possibly, to make them a shape of what in next birth and send to earth.....Are these not all unwanted?

Who has touched your life so deeply that it profoundly affected your life? For me, it was two people. My mother in law and my good friend. My mother in law showed me what real love is in her actions. She did not care that I was an American daughter in law, and many people told me upon her death that I was her favorite because I basically say it like it is and speak my mind. The other person was my friend who died in October 15th from brain cancer. If it wasn't for her pushing me after I got married, I never would have gone to college. Since I had known her, she kept preparing me for college, and when I became and adult she kept pushing me by showing me various programs (constantly) and telling me I have so much potential.

Now, on these boards, again, a shoutout to Lawrence of Arabia. Also Roshni, Mano, Zabist, Shanu, Muslim Rose, Adia Arek, Lokasenna, Goshi, Anisa, Azra, B., Affan, Susan J, Terry G. They give point to the blank answers with facts and have inspired me alot

I just barely started studying Dianetics...through a course. I have already rejected every other religion I encountered...Other than Pagan herbalism, nothing untrue about peace and mediation, but there are issues not addressed in Pagan tradition. I'm just not understanding the insults. Buying books that entice mental thought certainly seems like money that is spent more wisely than coughing up 10% of my income.

Before I click submit let me re-clarify the answer I am looking for:
I do not want to hear an actual attack, I've read plenty of them in the last hour.

What I want to see is WHY you feel the need to attack Scientology. Do you personally have experience? Have you even read Dianetics? If your reason is...well, see, my buddy joe said to look at this website, and I did...and now I think _________ about Scientology. I'm just curious.

Tell me where the hostility comes from. TV?

The electron is there---you cannot see it without a microscope
God is there----you cannot see Him without faith.

And if what you have heard of God is bad---try asking someone who understands and reads the original language, and the original texts. Scriptures like scientific research often get misunderstood. You may hate me, but I care enough to reach out to you---------I believe that the love in my heart for others came from my faith in God, and I would like to see that love spread to you and others. No disrespect. Just love.
