Who has touched your life so deeply that it profoundly affected your life? For me, it was two people. My mother in law and my good friend. My mother in law showed me what real love is in her actions. She did not care that I was an American daughter in law, and many people told me upon her death that I was her favorite because I basically say it like it is and speak my mind. The other person was my friend who died in October 15th from brain cancer. If it wasn't for her pushing me after I got married, I never would have gone to college. Since I had known her, she kept preparing me for college, and when I became and adult she kept pushing me by showing me various programs (constantly) and telling me I have so much potential.

Now, on these boards, again, a shoutout to Lawrence of Arabia. Also Roshni, Mano, Zabist, Shanu, Muslim Rose, Adia Arek, Lokasenna, Goshi, Anisa, Azra, B., Affan, Susan J, Terry G. They give point to the blank answers with facts and have inspired me alot

Thank you, I find you to be an inspiration as well. :-)

To answer your question I'd have to say my mother inspired me the most, always encouraging me to be true to myself and think for myself.

Thank you for the compliment,
My mother is the person who I look up to. she has had rheumatic fever as a child and could not walk for 2 years, as an adult she has had stones removed, a heart attack at 23, had 4 children (1 died after birth),Mum is now 74 and has 1 dead kidney, angina and only 1 valve working in her heart. Despite what she has gone through she has always been there for her family and she don't let it show that she is very sick. I am very proud of her, she is my inspiration and strength. I love you mum!
Your friend

May God bless you

My mother because she has had a hard life, but she still manages to smile and help others. She taught me to be open minded, to love everyone, to have compassion and to give what I can to those who have less. Because of her lessons as a child I have grown to be a strong, independent, determined woman. I don't let adversity get in my way and I am always ready for a challenge. I also have given y time to many charities over the years and have made a difference in the life of many people. I am proud of my mother for helping make me who I am today. Thanks Mom!

My Dad is very inspiring. He is faithful and trusts God with a truly contented mind through all ups and downs. He doesn't have a selfish bone in his body. He cares for others, and is very giving of his time and resources. He also has made so much of the talents God has given him. He runs a business and does so with total honesty and integrity, and has never given in to greed or dishonest methods. He's a hero in my eyes!

My mother has inspired me. She has gone through a lot of hell, but she strives on with her faith and her love for her children. Whenever I feel depressed then I think of the struggles my mother is going through to support me and my siblings and how she still manages to have a smile at the end of a hardworking day. My mother would give her last dollar to us and keep none for herself. Her caring soul has inspired me to be like her too. I love my mommy. *smiling right now*

my neighbour is amazing. she can cut right through the heart of an issue and give you insight you'd never have come up with on your own. i don't like the idea of being so impressed by a person that you take everything they say as gospel, but if i was going to do that, it would be her opinion i'd swear by. i hope when i'm old i'm that smart.

Anyways, my greatest inspiration comes from my mom. She taught me so much on how to be a good boy. She may be busy a lot, but she trusts in me that I'll do and be good, so I was. Plus, she's busy working all the time, just to get me food and money....and money....and more money. But that's not the point, the point is she's a good mum and she taught me a lot to do good and to do good to others. I wish I could be a good parent like her someday =x
