Is it the prospect of heaven? Just because the bible tells you so doesnt mean its the truth. If you believe in Christ JUST to get to heaven, thats pretty lame. What then? What rewards do you want to obtain after you get to heaven? lamo

For instance, an atheist does not believe in sexual abstinence till marriage - but would he be ok with murdering people for money (there is no religious teaching that tells him to be a good person)?

Well, it seems he has had massive mood changes from the old testament to the new testament. Going from being enraged, without compassion, murdering, jealous, bitter, and brutal to loving, forgiving, and happy.

When his creation of humans failed to meet his unrealistic standards of perfection he lacked the ability to cope with the anxiety and depression, so he just destroyed the enire world and tormented/kill his son .

*Note also he disowned and damned his own children to death when they ate his forbidden fruit.

Visions of grandur apparent with his belief he was all-knowing, good, and powerful. Believed he was his own son Jesus, which indicates a period of delusions and hallucinations.

*Note also a belief that he is some Holy Spirit. The inconsistancies in his behavior and mind set are massive.

What do you suggest? I suggest serious intense therapy, a large dose of Lithium for mood stability, Prozac for anxiety and depression, and Haloperidol for his psychosis.

Does this sound like the end of my life...?
Lately I've been thinking about a dream I had in September of 2005. It was right after my grandma died and in the dream I asked her when I would see her again and she said in 4 more years. Am I going to die in 2009!?! Or better yet, Christians, do you think the rapture could happen in 2009!?!

p.s. My grandma was a really godly person and I am a Christian. I wacthed the show "Bible Code: Predicting Apocolypse" and they talked about predicting disasters starting in 2009!

I have never in my life seen more pure fabrication than what I have seen on this site given out by supposedly knowledgable Catholics. If you actually learned what your Faith taught, there wouldn't be so many people who thought we were crazy. For crying out loud --- Get a Catechism!!

I would ask for a definition of "demon", then I would also ask for the proofs that Mediums are talking to "demons",

Also, and I suppose this is dependent on the definition of "demon", but is it possible that there are some Mediums who are talking to spirits which are in fact not, are in fact not . . "demons".

I guess I'm really just confused about this whole Mediums talk to Demon thing, part of it is the crazyness with which Christians talk about Evolution, it just really makes me think I'm talking to people who got off a time machine from the 1700s when we didn't have Darwinian theories, and back when there was like a Salem Witch Hunt, you see, cause a lot of innocent people were murdered by those Witch Hunts,

so I'm just really curious if its just more crazy Christian talk cause some Bible verse says so, or if there is like actual evidence of a Medium talking to a Demon.

Also, is it a logical fallacy to say all Mediums would talk to these Demons intentionally?

me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for the last 9 months and have had no luck so far.but now EVERYONE that i know is getting pregnant,and i just feel like god has it out for me,its just so discouraging.i mean theres people that i know that will treat their kids like crap and i cant provide for them and they get pregnant.it just really sucks.what have i done to not deserve a child. me and my husbands are doing everything that we can think of.
