Well, it seems he has had massive mood changes from the old testament to the new testament. Going from being enraged, without compassion, murdering, jealous, bitter, and brutal to loving, forgiving, and happy.
When his creation of humans failed to meet his unrealistic standards of perfection he lacked the ability to cope with the anxiety and depression, so he just destroyed the enire world and tormented/kill his son .
*Note also he disowned and damned his own children to death when they ate his forbidden fruit.
Visions of grandur apparent with his belief he was all-knowing, good, and powerful. Believed he was his own son Jesus, which indicates a period of delusions and hallucinations.
*Note also a belief that he is some Holy Spirit. The inconsistancies in his behavior and mind set are massive.
What do you suggest? I suggest serious intense therapy, a large dose of Lithium for mood stability, Prozac for anxiety and depression, and Haloperidol for his psychosis.

God does not have Bi-Polar affliction. God created all, mankind, the sea animals, each and everything. God, no remember if a Christian God or Catholic God or Islamic God = Allah. he's the comparable the former day, as we talk and tommorrow. he will treatment Bi-Polar affliction with drugs and Counselling. This too is an act of God. Make fun of the Almighty God if you must, and if you get your jollies out of it. Ever hear the saying "it's not wise to fool Mother Nature....". Well,.......
Fact is, God WARNED Adam & Eve before they ate the fruit of what would happened if they disobeyed. He just gave them the consequences of their behavior that He warned them about ahead of time.
As to the Old Testament versus the New Testament, God chose Israel as His own people. He blessed and protected them. He allowed them to conquer other nations and take their land from them to have as their own. God loved the other nations, but He hated that they worshipped other false gods. He allowed Israel to have their lands because of the disobedience of these other nations when they worshipped other gods and disobeyed God. When Israel sinned against God, yes, He did allow them to suffer and to be punished. Do parents just sit by and do nothing when their kids disobey? God loved His people and wanted to redirect them back to serving Him.
As to God believing that He is His own Son Jesus and that in itself is delusional, you are applying human reasoning to God. If you take an egg, is not the yolk just as much part of the egg as the white and the shell? Well, Jesus the Son is just as much a part of God as God Himself. God came to earth in human form, while remaining in Heaven. Sure, that's a hard concept to grasp for humans. Still, if you believe that God is GOD, and not some human superhero, then you would throw out the psycho-babble that you are throwing around and quit applying it to an almighty, omnipotent, all-powerful Being, who created the universe & everything in it. God and God alone, is capable of being God, the Son and the Holy Spirit at the same time. God is capable of anything and everything - except sinning. God CAN'T sin because it goes against His very nature.
As to your suggestion that God went from engraged, murdering, jealous and bitter to loving, forgiving and happy, that statement only proves your ignorance of the Bible, sorry to say. If you read the Bible, from cover to cover, you will discover that God has ALWAYS been a loving, forgiving and happy God. There are countless examples of God's mercy and goodness where He has given second, third and multiple chances for people to do things right. He has only destroyed people when He has seen that no amount of chances will change their evil and hardened hearts. God knows us better than we know ourselves and He knows our hearts. When His mercy stops, it is ONLY because He sees the the whole picture that we ourselves can't see. When He allows good people to die, it makes Him sad, but He has a greater purpose for allowing it that we can't see. When God deliberately destroys someone, it is because He sees their wicked heart and knows they will never change. God has a RIGHT to be a jealous God. How would YOU feel if you gave life to your child and provided, cared for and loved that child and the child spit upon you (figuratively) and went out and decided that someone else was going to be his/her parent, and they would love that "parent" instead? And to top it off, that child was ungrateful, cursed your name and wanted nothing to do with you? Would you not be jealous, hurt, angry also? As to God murdering, God made us and He can take us out of this world if He so chooses. I think you are playing with fire by mocking God this way because God DOES love you, but He loves us ALL so much that He will discipline us when we become stupid and full of pride and arrogance. He will take us down a few notches.
Finally, as to God allowing His own son to die (HE didn't kill him - humans did), God loved each of us SO much, that out of that love, He allowed His Son to pay the penalty for our sins. We all sin, and none of us are worthy to enter God's presence because even one tiny sin is a revulsion to God. Because we can't earn our way to Heaven, and because God will not tolerate sin, He made a way for us to enter Heaven through the WILLING sacrifice of His Son. Christ could have got off that cross or not even been on it to begin with. He ALLOWED humans to do that to Him out of love for us. When your child does something wrong and you need to punish that child, suppose instead, you allowed your child to witness you taking a severe beating from others. The others accused you of terrible things, right in front of your child, which you and everyone around knew was not the truth. Then your child cried out, "no - don't do that - my mom/dad is innocent - I'm the one who did the wrong thing - punish me instead!". Then you the parents told your child that you are paying the price for your child's wrongdoings so that your child will never again have to be punished. All your child has to do is to thank you for your sacrifice, allow you to have a part in his/her life and to listen to you and try to live with the values you are trying to set for your child. God has said we all deserve to go to hell when we die, because of our sin. Hell is a far worse punishment than Christ being beaten or suffering on the cross. Still, Christ gladly suffered and took on OUR punishment that we rightfully deserve (death on a cross was like the worse punishment one could have in those days - God allowed this to show the depths of His love for us). We don't even deserve to be alive, because we sin against God daily. God created us and He has the right to take away our lives. The fact that we live and breathe is a blessing from God. Why is it that when human beings make mistakes, sin and hurt one another, and God takes action against us in order to re-direct our paths, we turn on Him and blame Him for being angry, murderous and jealous? WE are the ones doing wrong - not God. When we screw up and bad things happen, we blame God. God made this world perfect and good, and MANKIND has screwed it up and has messed up the way the world is supposed to be, yet people blame God.
God also gives abundant blessings in many ways. He is a righteous, jealous, yet loving God. Before you throw out accusations of psychosis against God, I would strongly suggest you read the Bible and get acquainted with Him so that you will be better informed before you speak.
