I think this generation of Christians needs to hear the good news. Gospel which mean the good news . The world we live in is at it's worse for Christians and so many get discouraged. His ministry is to motivate us in the word of God and there's nothing wrong with it.

I understand that atheism is not a religion, but I'm worndering how they are similar (aside from "they are beliefs").

I saw this answer a while ago. I don't see how not believing in God, or not believing in the bible, like me, should be any threat to Christianity.

Read this answer: "It's all about the Liberal Secular Atheists that have been trying to destroy Christianity and Judaism for years. Notice that these same groups hid under the table when the Mu hammed picture scandal hit and millions of Muslims violently protested. They target Christians and Jews because they know we won't riot, burn and chant madly in packs of thousands. Remember when
"The Passion" came out how the atheists and secular tried to derail Christianity? It only made us stronger and I say we should do the same with that fraud Cameron. I'll NEVER watch any film he's involved in again. As for me, Jesus is Lord and if they're no on board there's nothing we can do for them but pity them. "

Are you a liberal secular Atheist? I am a liberal secular believer in God, but not that monster in the bible.

I am a recent atheist (about 8 months) convert from christianity and am going to visit my parents this month.
I am having trouble making up my mind on whether to go to church with my them or not.
On one hand it seems like it would be respectful to them to go because they want me there as well as spending time with them.
On the other hand I do not agree with their religion anymore and don't think I should support it in any way.

What do you think?

There is a story in Silamic history books about a battle called "Sareyat Fadak" where prophet Muhammed sent a small army, led by one of his companions (Basheer Ibn Sa'ad), to a neighbouring vilalge called Fadak.

The story tells that when the army reached the village they found most people out in their fields. The Muslim army as much valuables as they could and returned back when people saw them and chased them. Finally people fought the Muslim army and killed many of them and retrieved their valuables back.

The story tells that when prophet Muhammed heard of what happened, he sent another army for REVENGE. When the second Muslim army was also defeated, prophet Muhammed sent a third army who finally killed many of that village's people and looted many valuables and returned back to prophet Muhammed.

Was the way prophet Muhammed preaching his word to those people is by looting their valuables?

The essence of Love is derived from God. This is the true love, known as Agape.

Even those who don't believe can't help but agree that Love has been taken out of context and misued to the point that one might say that they are a loving slavemaster. Agape love is the true essence of what Love is supposed to be. It is self-sacrificing, humbling, satisfactory, and unlimiting love that God showed us by sending Jesus to die for our sins. That's how love is to be. the love between parent and child, husband and wife, siblings, and neighors.

God has granted us freewill, but we seem to continue to hurt each other and ourselves. God has granted us air to breathe, but we continue to do everything from pollute the air to worship false idols. God sent his to show us how to encounter Satan's tactics, but we killed him. Worse yet, we disgrace his name and what he stood for. Yet we continue to live with freewill.

If you've been disrepected like that, could you love?

Do you realize that by bringing attention to certain bands who put satanic references in their music, that you are actually HELPING them sell their music. Some bands put references in their music just to get you to protest it and draw attention to their music. Does it bother you that by protesting concerts that you are carrying out a form of advertisement for them?

OK...here's the situation. There is a "C" note riding on it. My cousin, who has always come across as a religious nut, recently told me that his neighbor, one John Pope is getting married. I have argued with him that a Pope cannot get married....who is right??

I mean the whole book. Not just bits and pieces and the famous stories. Whether it's the Bible, the Talmud, the Q'uran, the Book of Mormon. Whatever it is for that person's faith. Why haven't they read the whole book?

I saw most of it. It was strange to see another perspective. Being Catholic, the findings of these people may contradict my denomination's beliefs. I really don't know what else to say. I was neither indifferent nor blown away by it. What did you think?

There are a number of anatomical characters and genetic markers that define the zoological family that great apes belong to. Humans share all of those characters, from skeletal anatomy to musculature and internal organs, right down to the specific, unique cusp pattern on our teeth.

So, if we are not descended from great apes, as Creationists claim, how exactly do you explain why there are so many physiological and genetic similarities between man and the great apes?

whether there should be any limit or tax to the profits a company many make;

In most every other area, Christian or not, they like to think that looking for facts is the way to go.

But NOT when seeking God? Just go on faith?

I have serious issues with a God who is afraid to reveal himself as the truth. I also have issues with accepting anything that comes along without facts to go on?

I know we have to stand for something, or fall for anything, but does this mean we have to stand for such a limp belief?
