1.
The pinnacle of Bush's Presidency has been signing the National no-call list bill.
Other than that, total failure.

5. Goodness, people think that because soldiers are dying, it's a failure. Come on. It's a war. I just think that our generation (I'm 21) has trouble understanding what war really entails. Most people make comments about this kinda crap that they have no business commenting on. I don't think he did awesome, but it takes time. I am one of the few people that doesn't think this war is about oil. I think people have to understand that Bush isn't the only one calling shots. I used to hate the war. My brother is Army infantry and he has already done a 1 year tour of Iraq (about to go back) and you know what? He used to disagree too, but he's actually been there and seen it (unlike most highly opiniated people who should just hush) and he understands and accepts that we DO have a reason. It might not go perfectly at times, but that's what happens with a war. Successes and failures are inherent. Ever heard of an army winning EVERY single battle?

Where the hell is Osama bin Laden?
I swear to God this must be a big joke. Iraq was functioning just fine. Everyone went to work and school like normal people everywhere. There was no tension with Iran or anyone else.
Instead of capturing Osama, we invade Iraq, kill its leader and people, destroy the entire society, and piss off Iran. Terrific.

While I do believe there were some (very few) good things to come out of this whole ordeal, in general the bad outweighs any good by a significant margin. Anything we may have accomplished will be invalidated by everything that is yet to be done in retribution by all the people we have pissed off.

Well if you consider that we shouldn't even be there, I'd have to go with 1 (since that's the lowest number on your scale).

One. The strategy of the Bush camp has us in far more peril than we were in the first place.
